They kicked everytime Luke talked. They like his voice. A lot.

I sighed and started rubbing my stomach. Maybe they would calm down.

I smiled. Lets get dressed, I thought to her. I want to show you something.

I shivered. That was horrible. Then I blinked. I remembered. I remembered so much now. I ran to Ean's room pounding on the door. "EAN!" I shouted.

I shivered and sat up. I tasted blood. I ran to the sink in the bathroom and spit. It was blood. And a tooth. Cassie sure did know how to throw a punch. I resined my mouth out with water when I heard Cassie. "Come in," I said.

I went to my closet and took out a loose fitting dress.

I smiled and pulled on my jeans and a new T-Shirt.

I took a deep breath and picked up the teddy bear. I smiled at the memory.

I spit in the sink again until it ran clear. Then i drank some water. "Cassie please just-" Then i saw Sasha and not Cassie. "Oh. Hey Sasha."

I put on the dress and walked over to Luke. I was in more than a good mood.

I smiled at her and kissed her lips sweetly. "I want to show you what I learned this life," I said.

"Ean," I said. "What exactly do you remember about me?"

I blinked. "Not much. I picked up that bear you are holding and... it felt like you. And since it's a child's bear I think you're my daughter."

I followed him. my hands cradling my stomach. I was getting bigger. Which meant the babies would get stronger.

I smiled and pulled her towards the main hall. There was a grand piano in it. I sat her down in one of the comfy chairs and played Mozart for her.

I listened. I had read somewhere that music was good for babies. I put my hands down and they were calming down. They liked it.

I smiled looking up at Cassie. She was smiling. It was working. I continued to play the song.

I shook my head. "Want to know what I remember?" I asked. He nodded and sat down on the bed. I did the same. I took a deep breath and thought to him what I remembered.

It was a dark night. We were by the trains and there was a child in my arms. I was 21 and he was 30. The baby girl in my arms was 5. "We have to leave Ean. For her safety. And mine. You can stay. So long as your wife doesn't know what happened between us for the last 5 years it should be ok." He took my hand and kissed it.
"Sasha don't leave me. Cassandra... she'll understand. We can take you in until the end of the war. The Nazis will lose. I've seen it," he told me.
"But will we survive?" I asked him. He didn't answer. "Don't worry. We'll find each other. Some day. I love you Ean." Then I kissed his lips slowly. The train whistle blew and the child in my arms stirred. I pulled away. "Say good-bye to Daddy Annabeth." I told her. She shook her head and touched Ean's hand. Then she handed him her teddy. "see you daddy."
Ean smiled. "I love you both," he said. Then we went on the train. I got a window seat. Half way through the trip we stopped. There were women and children outside. All of them dark haired. All of them Jewish. I got up and placed Annabeth in the bathroom. "stay here and don't make a sound," I said to her. Then I left and a man in a tan suite grabbed my arm. "Papers mame," he said. I stiffened and showed him my papers. Annabeth was too young for papers. "Come with me," he said and I left with him. I was taken to the gas chambers and killed. Annabeth was found 5 minutes later and left with me. We died together. "I'm sorry Ean," I said as I chocked on the gas.

I relaxed. The kicking was still going on, but not in a blitzkrieg way.

I smiled and finished the song. "What do you think?" I asked out loud. "MY mom put me in piano lessons this life."

"That is why you have the teddy and thought of me," I said. "I was Jewish and we were living in Germany. That is also why i thought I died at age 5. Our child died then."

He just looked ahead starring at nothing. "Ean?" I asked.

I fell back on the bed. "It makes so much sense. Did we have a son?" I asked.

"No," I said. "Just a loving daughter who died in the gas tanks with me."

It hurt really bad. I had to grab onto the arms of the chair.
Luke put his hand on my stomach and they kicked so hard where his hand was, he jumped a little.
