I jumped up and walked over to the cribs. I picked up Bella and took her to the changing table. Thank God I knew what I was doing, I had babysat since the time I was 12. In this life. She stared at me and smiled.
Mommy? Read me a story.
I picked her up and stood in front of the books shelf. There were some children's books. I was guessing Sasha had left those. She shook her head when I picked one up. It was weird to see a baby that was 3 days old shake their head no to you.

I smiled and walked behind her putting on some boxers again. Cassie seems to forget that she is naked a lot though. Not that I mind.

I picked up a book that I didn't recognize. It wasn't a child's rhyme, but it wasn't too hard either.
Snow White. That seemed harmless. I sat down when she indicated she was hungry. I fed her while I read.

I smiled. Snow White is a good book. Good for kids who want a challenge. I picked up Gabriel and sat down next on the bed listening to Cassie.

When the wicked woman heard these words she uttered a curse, and was beside herself with rage and mortification.
I skipped the part where the Wicked Queen fell down dead.

I looked down. She was asleep. I stood up carefully and brought her over to Luke in case he wanted to hold her or kiss her. Whatever he had in mind. I looked at Gabriel in his arms. I smiled. He was our son.
