I pulled away from Diana

Diana grabbed for them again. "Stop she's dangerous."


I looked up at them, my eyes flashed a strange color of blues, purples, and siver all in one. "Get away from me!" I yealled

I looked at her, "She's hurting" I spat at Diana, "Let us help her"

Diana didn't take her eyes off Paysin's. "She's accepting her other parts...shes completing her change into a goddess....becoming immortal."

I yelled out one last time before everythign went black and white in an explosion. Then I was dead.

Diana and the others were thrown back as the ball burst. She propped herself up on her elbows and watched as Paysin fell limp on the ground and the small girl stood there beside her, totally unharmed.

Summer looked up at them. "She's dead."

Diana stood up, sore from the fall. "Yes, in a sense, but she will rise again; hopefully soon."

Elliott looked at Diana, "You let us stand and watch her die" He said, "What kind of sick twisted plan is that"

Diana turned her gaze on them. "She isn't dead...well in the sense that your not dead, Jason."

"So she's like him"

"She's like all of us, Elliot." Diana corrected him sternly. "She is a goddess, she is an immortal now; to become immortal you must die...now the only way for her to die for good and not rise again," her face grew troubled, "is self-destruction to join the Gods and Goddesses in the Heavens."

He looked at her

"Diana" I sai,d "She's not getting up"

Diana nodded. " I know she isn't, theres no telling how long this will last."

Summer looked at them. "And what about me?"


Diana looked at the girl she wanted to refer as Paysin's death child and sighed, "We have to watch after you till she wakes up." Diana didn't know if Jason and Elliot viewed her in the same angry way she did about the girl who Paysin dies for in my vision but they had no choice but to protect her for the sleeping Goddess.

I froze my face. I was going to help protect her no matter the cost. "We should get her back to the school," I said in monotone.

Diana nodded and went to pick up Paysin's body.

I nodded as I watched, "I can carry her if you want"

Diana looked at them both and sighed, shaking her head. Holding her hands up in surrender and stepping away from Paysin.
