| I like how they did the true blood show. I never read the books so idk how different they are, eventually I'll get to reading them though. But I really like how they made each season out of one book. With movies they only have like 2 hours to fit in as much as they can and then stuff that is important gets over looked. Take the Twilight movies for example. I'm not a big fan of the books or movies, but I did read them all because it was like a train wreck that I couldn't stop watching. But I feel like the movies weren't as good as the books and the time line in New Moon was really screwed up and they didn't include things I think they should have or they totally changed situations to make it look cooler or whatever. I feel that if it was a TV series they'd have enough time to do just about everything and then add in some of their own stuff for added realism. | |

| i think maybe a t.v. series. one episode would be like the equivalent of like three chapters and each season or whatever could be like a book and a half. but movies, fitting in that many books? can't be easy. | |

| I agree. A tv series coming a book per season would be much easier to fit everything in and even add in stuff to make it more believable and realistic. Not just that, but look at how Harry Potter is. The original guy that played Dumbledor died so they had to get a new one and you can really tell the difference on how fast they grew up over the course of the movies. These books all happen one right after another pretty much, so that leaves no room for people growing. | |

| It would be too confusing doing 12 movies to fir the 12 books that are said to come out. The actors will need to be replaced after every few films. It just wouldn't be cool. | |

| Yea, at least with a series there isn't that big of a gap between seasons and a mid season break. Movies take at least 2 years to finish, even if filming is back to back, it would take forever for them all to get come out. | |
