I'm......a bit annoyed. I didn't like how Heath died, but it releived us from the on going boy drama that was going on. I don't know about you guys, but I'm really tired of Zoey tripping over almost every guy that comes her way. It is possible to have a good story without this much boy drama, and I hate the way Zoey strings all her boys along and can't make a decision. I kind of find her behavior insulting to teenage girls. Don't get me wrong, I still like Zoey, it's just the boy drama is way too much.

No idea but I don't really care either never really liked him.

As far as I'm concerned Heath is more dead than ever, however if Aurox turns out to be another delusioned stalker I will question the authors' sanity.

I liked Heath better when he was drunk. I could blame the irrational thoughts and stupid ideas on the alcohol but sober, he seemed to be worse. Maybe it was brain damage from the amount of alcohol he consumed or the little Imprint thing went straight to his head like a drug. So he went from alcoholic to junkie. Aurox has to be smarter than that.

Okay so at first I couldn't stand Heath. In the first few books he was sooooo annoying, especially when he was drunk. But then after I read Hunted I fell in love with his character. I truly believe that Heath really loves Zoey and would do ANYTHING for her. I felt like he has improved and matured alot since the first four books. I admire the way he puts Zoey's needs before his without hesitation ( ex. In Awakened when Nyx offered him the three choices and he chose to be the vessel). I think that Zoey and Heath have a connection that goes waayyyy back to when they were little kids, and I don't think it will ever go away. I think that's why Nyx said that Zoey and Heath are soulmates, because of their deep connection. I definetly think that Nyx's conversation with Heath about him and Zoey being soulmates is P.C. and Kristin Cast way of foreshadowing something between the two.
However I believe that Stark and Zoey also have a deep connection as well. I also admire the way Stark has Zoey as his top priority and would do anything to keep her safe. I love both Heath and Stark, and I have no idea where the Casts are going with this love triangle , but I know it's going to be interesting.

Well, I never said Heath was a bad person. A terrible friend, definitely, and not much of a boyfriend either, as far as I could tell. Mostly he was just naive, ignorant, and dim-witted.

In Hunted he really wasn't that much better. He only showed up in the first place just so he could take his old obsession further, more selfishness than actually caring that he was actually twisting Z's heart, which was still fragile from what Loren had did to her less than a week prior. What I read was that Heath did the same stupid knife trick to use Zoey's bloodlust against her, to start the whole Imprint again, and force Zoey to stay with him. And if you recall from what happened in Chosen, that same stupid stunt isn't only dangerous for Heath, but it caused an "incident" that envolved Zoey throwing two men in front of a truck in what might best be described as a primetive territorial instinct. Did Heath learn from the experience? Obviously not! Zoey on the other hand finally mustered up the willpower to just say "no" to dru.... I mean blood. And instead she got torn apart by a Raven Mocker.

After that, well, maybe he started to get the idea because his decisions since then have actually been of benefit to Zoey, even the Imprint actually came in handy... just the one time. Still I noticed when he was comforting Aphrodite that he still blamed Zoey for the pain he felt when the Imprint first broke. An Imprint he was largely responsible for.

Thank you Wazzuman! That's exactly the behavoir that caused me to hate Heath. I always found that he was annoying and in the way. I did cry when he left her in the Otherworld, but when he said he'd find a way back to her I did a facepalm haha. Like it's nice that he'd do anything for Zoey, but she already has Stark who would jump in front of a bus for her at any given second, so she doesn't really need him. I do hope that Aurox is stronger, smarter, and less obsessed then he was in his former life. That would please me.

In the end I think Stark is going to go insane from Kalona controlling his mind and somehow end up dying, and then Aurox kills Kalona and ends up with Zoey at the very end.

And Nyx said Heath and Zoey were soulmates, but Zoey said her and Stark were soulmates......confusion lol I guess we'll find out.

iLOVErephaim ,I can kind of see your theory about Stark going insane and Zoey and Auroux being together happening.Although I don't see Stark going completly insane. I do see him struggling to keep Kalona out of his mind. I think that would cause Zoey to slightly drift from Stark and closer to Aurox as she sees that he is also struggling with his "inner demons" , and/maybe the fact that he will remind her of someone she once knew etc etc. That's just my theory. Either way I think that Zoey will end up with both Aurox/Heath and Stark because Nyx did say that Zoey and Heath are soulmates, and I think that Nyx's statement is foreshadowing something btwn Zoey and Heath...BIG time. I think Zoey and Heath will always be tied to each other in some way, and the same goes for Stark and Zoey. That's why I think that Zoey will end up with both guys in some odd way. I hope that makes sense , lol

But yes, I do beleive that you are on to something LovelyKeiya. It's been said that both guys are her soulmate, Stark (insanely) told Zoey he's fine with other guys because of "honor" being stronger than love, and just simply Heath has an undying and unyeilding love for Zoey that just won't fade. Zoey, in my opinion, is a Mary Sue. Why wouldn't she get both men she wanted?

BUT, if Stark does begin to struggle with Kalona, I will be disappointed in Zoey if she runs off with Aurox the first chance she gets and doesn't support or stay by Stark's side because "She can't handle the stress and being with Aurox somehow makes her forget everyone else" or some such none sense. Like PLEASE, Stark would die for Zoey, but she can't stick around and help him out with this??? Anyway, if something like that happens, the tiny string of hope I had for Zoey's improvement in maturity with guys will break.

Lol ! ITA with you iLOVErephaim ! It is wrong to date two guys at once ,but with the HON series anything can happen, lol. And it would be wrong for Zoey to run off with Aurox the first chance she gets, but I don't think she will. I think she will try to fight off the attraction she will begin to feel towards him, and will try to make Stark her first priority. But I think that she will give in to Aurox eventually.
