Tell Me Something I Don't Know

Howling winds destroying everything in their path
A vehement deluge of rain falling from the sky
Big dark ominous clouds looming over the Earth
Luminous lightning striking anything it pleases
Obstreperous thunder crackling and booming loudly
Streets flooding with vicious torrents of water
Trees swaying two and fro from furious gusts of winds
Birds waiting patiently in their nests for the storm to pass
Rain water beading on a spider’s sticky web
Ocean waves crashing into each other in a state of confusion
Fish placidly swimming careless of the world above them
Ships veering further and further off-course
Stucco houses darkening from the constant rain
Water silently and discreetly tapping from the sky
A small group of birds flying peacefully in the humid air
A dog and her owner enjoying a stroll around the block
Some kids running around tossing a basketball
The sun peeking its blazing eyes around a cloud
The storm is over

We were enemies back in third grade
Over one girl neither of us even liked
Became best friends in fourth grade
When we gave the word Bubbles a whole new meaning
Flash forward to high school
Freshman year was full of anger
We hung out with different crowds
Kept switching back and forth
Neither of us was to blame
We were both influenced by Hispanic smooth talk
End of the year came and you were unhappy
Summer went by too fast and school had to begin
Sophomore year part one
Full of loneliness, bad Chicas, and failing grades
Couldn't belive that you would up and leave me
Change comes as fast as a tornado
And hits you like a lightning bolt
But no matter how hurt you are
You must get up and move on

Different yet the same
Stands out yet fits in
Poetic in her own way
Not a girly girl yet not a tomboy
Not soft yet not tough
She is her own riddle
Quiet as the wind yet loud like a tornado
Fast as a cheetah yet slow like a turtle
She is everything in between
You cannot peg her as one thing
She is who she is
Take it or leave it

Whenever I walk down the hall
Or bend down to open my locker
I feel as if I'm being watched
Am I just paranoid
Do you see something I don't
Tell me what you think
Could it be that I am oblivious
What's going on
I feel it's something different
Like someone is stalking me
No matter what I do
No matter what I say
I can't shake this feeling
Don't care if I am judged
Don't care what anyone says
Just want to know what's going on
So tell me something I don't know

Walking down the hall
Acting on the stage
Smiling every second
Laughing all the time
Wish I could be more like him
So care free without a worry
Has a secret but who doesn't
Hides it so discreetly
I almost couldn't tell
He threw me for a loop
With actions overdramatized
He is what he is
A future famous actor

Just trying to fit in

Best friends forever and nothing more
One a rebel and one a therapist
Trouble always seemed to doom their fates
One is leaving and one is staying
Rumors may go round and round
But I am here to set you straight
Best friends forever and nothing more
Sad to see a friendship burdened
With the thought of being distant
If only they could read this now
I have just one piece of solid advice
Never let a friendship die

Staring at a blank page
With a pen in hand
And an open mind
Trying to find the words
That will make the magic happen
But it all seems so meaningless
Wish that I could say what I want to
And write exactly how I feel
Even though it's not coming easily
Could you help me out
What should I say
How should I act
It never really mattered anyway
I'm always gonna do what i wanna do
Just need a little advice
What should I write
