Did Burned bore you?

trust me, it takes a while but it also take dedication. this one is more about stark and rephaim

yeah, i guess so. idid get tired with zoeys boy problems, but to me the rest was great. SR and rephaim - 2 me- was kinda boring, at first. then t got reall interesting. i read the whole series in a week.

I think the book was a bit slow, because it was over a period of what, 3 days? So they had to describe almost everything.. which got a little annoying. But I think the ending where Stark enters the Otherworld was really really good, so that made up for it.
And the Rephaim & Stevie-Rae thing was quite interesting.

tempted and burned were not really interesting for me. i liked some scenes with stevie rae and rephaim or the end of burned in the otherworld .. but thats it.

i didnt like the zoey parts mostly because she annoys me and they mostly talk about getting her back with which there isnt alot of action. stevie rae an rephiam parts i liked best because i just like how thier reltionship is forming and their is more action in there

It took forever for me to pick this up given the ending of the last book. I just didn't want to see how they'd further destroy Heath...or Erik for that matter. While the books before now were firmly embedded in the mytharc, this book added mythical Darkness and Light personified by a white and black bull respectively, there are vampyre Queens, Warriors who Guardians and Shamans, and a whole bunch of other "out of left field" plot points. The most random discourse was Grandma Redbird discussing Blue Eyed Devil and how she thought Hardy Cates was such a yummy character. If anyone has read Lisa Kleypas' Travis boys series, they'll attest to the fact that Hardy Cates was a much more complex character in the prequel Sugar Daddy. But I digress.

Stevie Rae has her Rephaim secret which she tries to keep secret through lies b/c she never learned a thing from Zoey's mistakes. Zoey is shattered and keeping Heath company. Him going to the other realm killed me all over again. I hope he comes back by the end of the series. Stark is bananas with pain and sadness and I frankly don't get what a Guardian is and what's Honor all about. Aphrodite and the rest of the gang are the same. And Dallas goes completely off the deep end. Sigh. I usually ripped through these books. The last two, especially this one, was painful beyond the Heath destruction.

But I didn't get a sense that Stark was giving up on his relationship with Zoey. And given my screenname you'd think I'd catch the Guardians of Peace and Justice in the Galaxy analogy. D'oh!

Well, it wasn't the most interesting one of them. Definitely not, but I don't really think it was boring. The end was probably the most exciting thing, it left me all miserable about having to wait a year for Awakened. Yea, the Zoey parts weren't the most interesting ones, but that's just because nothing really happened to Zoey in the book with her for the most part, except the soul hysteria. I did like Aphrodite, Stevie Rae & Starks POV, though.

My favourite parts of the book were the bulls and the end, but i didn't find it boring overall, and i read it in about the same amount of time as i did the others. My favourites povs were stark, aphrodite though, i liked stevie rae's at soe parts though aswell.

burned was my favourite books. i really like it that there are different povs, 'cause i never liked Zoey very much...
i found it the most exciting book from the series. can't wait til awakend comes out

I am really excited for awakened too, and I am really curious to see whether they do it in the same way as burned or not.

What do you mean with the same way? The povs? They just have to, because otherwise for example the stevie-rephaim-story couldn't be telled!

I meant like flicking between all the characters almost equally, or whether they will still do the different PoVs but less people's, so that it only focuses on say two, eg Stevie Rae and zoey

I don't...I'm just beginning to get used to the switching of the pov's and I like how she has the multiple pov's and I think it helps captures everyones thoughts and side to the story. Like people say there are multiple pov's to one story
