| My head snapped up and I woke up from my sleep.
I caught a faint smell of human inside the house. I looked over at Scarlet and saw her still sleeping.
I signed with relief.
I shut the door softly behind me and followed the sent. I heard Owen talking to Isabella inside her room. I stood in the door way and saw the baby.

I held the baby looking into his eyes.
I could feel it's little heart beat. I smiled.
"A human child not even a month old living in a home full of vampires. I like it." I smiled and handed the baby back to Owen.
"We will all be his family. But we have to make sure we are not hungry around him. What do you plan on naming him?" I asked, smiling, still looking at it;s small face. | |
