Hunters Become The Hunted

We went out into the wood and tracked down a group of bucks. I "ate" three and Scarlet drank from four. Scarlet started to tear up as we made our way home.

"Come on Scar, it's alright. This is how life is now" I said softly.

I nodded and wiped the tears away. I walked into the house "Hey Owen, house the baby" I asked

"Okay, but I think i'm gonna have to go get some diapers will someone watch hiom for me?"

I stuck out my hand and started jumping lightly "Oh oh oh oh me me me me!" I exclaimed.

I smiled and rolled my eyes

"Okay here" I handed him over hen went to get diapers

"Baby!" I said happily, taking him into my arms. "Little Blair" I cooed "Awe, guys look at him. So innocent.. so beautiful.." I sighed

"Oh brother, I wish I went with Owen to go get diapers." I mumbled and Scar hit me. I laughed.
I laid out a blanket on the living room floor and Scarlet and I sat down and played with the baby.
Soon after, the baby had fallen asleep in Scar's arms.
Scarlet beamed and looked as beautiful as ever.
We watched a movie on the couch, waiting for Owen to come home.

"Hey guys, how's Blair?"

"Wonderful!" I exclaimed

"Shhh. The baby is sleeping Scar. Keep it down." I said looking down at the child in my arms.
I waved off what he said "Oh Owen. I totally love you!" I said and got off the couch. I hugged Owen.

"Ok, why exactly?"

I stepped back "Dude. You brought a living thing into the house of the dead. Crazy thing to do, but I truly think that the baby is going to be a good thing for our family" I smiled.

"Well as long as you feed before you go around him, which reminds me wheres Isabella, still asleep?"

((I don't think she has been on. I don't know D: ))

I shurged "I don't know. I have not seen her all day. She probably is still sleeping. She might have cought a vamp sickness or something" I said worried.

"Maybe"

" You never know. I mean those animals... those poor poor animals......" My eyes started to tear up

I cleared my throat and got Scarlets attention

I shook my head "Uh Huh, Um. You never know what deseases they might have or what they have been doing.. and stuff." I managed.

"Yeah, maybe but she did seem pretty tired after yesterday"

I nodded in agreement. "Question. How did you and Isabella even meet?"

"Scar!"

"What?! I was just wondering. I mean I don't remember her being in our Hunter Coven" I said

"I met Isabella long before I met you guys, Weve been friends since the time we were born"

I raised an eyebrow but did not ask questions even though I had a million going through my mind

I coughed "So now you guys desided to get together?" I asked

"Well, theres always been somethign there, adn we were both just a little nervous abiut it"

I snorted " Didn't look like you two were neverous about it when Kev and I walked into the warehouse" I said

" Scar.."

"Hmm and I remember you saying that you didn't need our help and we shouldn't worry. That we weren't gonna get attacked but Vamp's" I rolled my eyes "Thanks for that by the way" I said coldly.

"Alright, thats enough from you, Scarlet"

"Its ok, I kind of deserved that one, and I mean, how was I supposed to know theree were vampires ouside?"

I took a step closer "If you were focused we could have gotten them. If you had not been making out with your girlfriend, we could have killed them! We were trained to do that. That was our goal. To kill the Vampires! But no! The Vampires killed us! We are dead Owen! I am dead!" My voice rose higher and higher and I went inside his mind, causing him to cripple in pain.

"Scarlet! Enough!" I rose up off the couch and held the baby to my chest. I grabbed the back of Scar's shirt and pulled her hard so she fell into the couch.

I blinked and saw what I did to Owen "I-I-

I helped Owen up to a chair

"JUst think of this when we were alive as you say could you do this?" I morphed my wings and flew to the ceiling, and hovered down to the floor?"

I shook my head "Enough you two, your giving me a head ache" The baby stared to whine and I rocked him back and fourth.

I growled underneath my breath at Owen and got up off the couch. "Hand him here" I told him

I hesitated, but that only won me "the look". I reluctantly handed the baby to Scar and she whisked him off into the kitchen. She digged through the paper bags and found the baby formula

I shifted off my wings

"THanks Scar"

I waved off his thanks and watched the baby suck the bottle, my anger melting away.

I sighed and looked over at Owen "Are you okay?" I asked
