I sniffled and made the turn onto the free way. "Are you sure? Because I'm not anymore."

"I won't lie these past months must have been hell for you. But you have Markis and that is all that matters is that you two are together."

I didn't say anything. I just sniffled.

I Lifted my head KNowingly she is having a ruff time. I looked at her like my wolf always does. and I knew she always gets confused and lost. but theres always help. I moved carfuly to the fround being careful of my shoulder. I sat in the frount like a dog would.

I looked over at him and fresh tears came to my eyes.

PLease dont cry Mel. I Said to her. I layed down on the seat and layed my head on the Middle thing in the car.

"I can't help it." I said crying.

I sihged. And liked her cheek. And then layed back down.

I tried to smile at him.

John went outside and I looked around, I stood up still shaking."Stupid wolf," I muttered under my breath.

I walked downstairs when all seemed quite. "What the heck did you do to my house! Made a mess without even killing the thing."

"Your mad at me?! Where were you hiding? What didn't care about your son so you went and hid in the bathroom?"

I heard yelling from inside. "Uh Mel I have to go, remember exit 36, call me if you get lost again," I quickly hung up and walked inside to the front room. I saw Ryan and my dad yelling at each other. I leaned againest the wall, "come on boys no need to fight, what happened, happened," I said walking over and turning up the ripped up chair.

I hung up and looked around for the exit. I found it and took it, I found the house and opened the door, "This is where we are staying." I said to Markis.

I walked out of the house and heard John's footsteps follow. I turned to him, anger in my voice, "and where do you think you are going?"

I got in the car after him. "I need you to take me home," I said with a smile.

I sighed. "So much for you having a car." I turned on the car and headed towards the highway.

I got in the driveway and looked up at the place. This was nice. I left the door open for Markis and I walked inside.

In 10 minutes we pulled up to the house. I saw the door wide open and reached down to unbuckle my seat belt.

I bit my lip and stopped him. "Sorry bro, you can't come in. I have a girl over and that would be weird if you randomly showed up." I got out of the car and waved him goodbye. Then turned and entered my house.

I looked around when I heard someone pull up I ran away and hid.

I walked inside. "Mel?" I called around.

I stood up, "John?" I asked hoping someone wasn't being cruel.

I spotted her and smiled. "Yes, and may I ask why you are hiding behind my couch?"

I looked down "I thought... you might have your brother with you." I said "I don't want to be handcuffed again."I said rubbing my cut up wrists.

I placed my wallet on the counter and looked over at her. "Thats understandble," I walked over to the fridge and opened it pulling out a armful of ingreidents. "Hungry?"

I nodded and smiled "Starving." I said walking over to sit on the counter.

I started to make a sandwich. "I have a question."

"I might have an answer." I smiled

I thought for a moment trying to find a way to state the words right. "What made ryan come after you like that. What made him handcuff you to a chair?" I said finishing the first sandwich and sliding the plate of food over to her.
