Not So Happy Birthday!!!((Closed, Started))

"Apparently, I am some hot comodety to the were wolves. Your dad and brother hate werewolves because I guess they killed your mom. And I am suposedly going to kill someone or something. I think."

I looked back down to the ground. I remember that night she died. "Must be hard having that happen to you. Being attacked without knowing why exactly."

I nodded "The sad part... it started on my birthday." I said. "No one ever told me that I was part animal. Seems like they weren't going to either."

I looked up at her studying her face. "That is a lot to go through, to tell the truth I never really knew my father. SUre I knew that he was this crazy hunting man, he just never seemed to care about anything else but wolves..." I trailed off thinking about him in my mind.

I reached across the counter and patted his hands "We both have disfunctional families."

I bit my lip then smiled to her. "I suppose," I walked over and sat on the couch.

I watched him walk over. "Why aren't you like your brother and Dad?"

I thought about that for a moment. "It was the fact that I watched my father for years ruin his life and I just didn't want to live like he did. The way he killed things made me sick to live under the same roof. I had enough credits to get out of high school in 3 years then got out of the house. I knew from the point I left that house I wanted to save people not kill them."

"Your not just playing me right?" I asked "Because your brother was really nice to me and then he captured me and handcuffed me."

"If I was like them then I would have just left you there. But seeing cuffed only made me even more not want to be like my brother or father. It was so wrong to kill the wolves..."

I pulled up to the large house, I could hear the tv blarring from outside. I walked in and saw them all huddled around the small tv. I walked over and picked it up throwing it to the ground. "I am not paying you to sit on your *edit your post and this will go away*. So what is this what you guys all do when I am gone, just sit here?!" I could feel anger building up, I took a deep breath and starred at them all. "Pack up, we are going hunting," I turned and headed upstairs to my bedroom.

I looked at him and saw the sincerity in his eyes. I smiled "Thank you." I said Then I realized how dumb that sounded after all that he had done. "I don't really know what else to say to express how glad I am that you saved. So thank you." I said walking iver to him and placing a kiss on his cheek.

I Stayed Near the area but I Could still hear them I hated to eavesdrop on people. But I need to lay down and heal for now.

"I do not deserve a thank you but it is more as I owe you and your friend a sorry for what my family has put you both through these months." My pager went off and I pulled it out of my pocket. "I have to go but make yourself at home," I smiled and walked outside.

I ran after him "Where are you going?" I Asked afraid that if he left he wouldn't come back. I really didn't know where I was or if I was going to be able to leave here.

I smiled up at her. "I have to go to the hospital for a few hours, don't worry I will be back around 5." I got into the car and turned it on.

I nodded and walked back to the living room and sat down, turning to the tv. I pulled my knees to my chest and looked at the tv.

I shook my head no at him.

I lay on my bed eyes shut, I watched as the last shred of my sanity slipped away into a forever darkness. I awoke with a knock on the door, my body sent a sharp protest of pain when I forced myself off the bed and to the door. I opened it pushing past the man standing there and looked over at the men below over the railing. I heard the murmurs of them as I glared down to them. "Change of plan, first we kill Markis. Anyone who brings me that mutt alive will get the pleasure of having Mel as a award." I turned back and walked inside the room and heard footsteps as the men below packed there bags. I rolled my eyes and laid backed down on the bed starring at the ceiling. "They are so stupid."

I walked down the halls of the Hospital making my first set of rounds. My mind on her, Mel. I tried to focus but it seemed she was always in the my thoughts. I walked to my office and sat sown starring at the phone on my desk. I picked it up, then put is back down. She is dating that Markis guy. He is much more cooler I mean he is a werewolf and you are a stupid doctor. I sighed and picked up the sheets and went for my second rounds.

I sat on the couch thinking about John, he wasn't like his brother and father at all. Or atleast I hoped he wasn't. I thought his brother was nice at first too. I wonderd what he was doing now he never told me, I thought it was nice if him to let us stay here

I walked into my favorite patients room, a little 8 year old boy waiting for a new heart. I looked at his mother her hand wrapped over the little boys, "good news, we found a heart for you and they are flying it over now. We need to prepare you for surgery." I smiled and the mother cried, tears of happiness. The nurses came in and I left the room and went to wash up for the surgery. Maybe if I showed Mel, that I wasn't like them, that I am human then maybe I will have a chance. Only 20 minutes into the operation the boy died on the table. The time of death was called, and I had to bare telling the news to his mother.
"It is not your fault, he was very sick before surgery and if we waited for him to be healthy, he would have died from his own heart giving out," That is what the nurse usually says. I cleaned up and changed. I went out to my car and cried.

I couldn't bare sitting there is bed, I walked downstairs and the house was empty. I enjoyed the silence. "Time to plan," I said out loud and pulled out a box, opening I read aloud the title. "Wolf Packs," I read down the paper, it showed the lists of the werewolf's, their mates, and children. I smiled as most were crossed out, which meant they were died. I placed down the paper and looked at the pictures of dead wolves, each labeled the name of the werewolf in the picture, and the one who killed them. I paused and studied one picture. The picture of Markis's dad.

Somewhere along the time of waiting there I fell asleep, I woke up because I felt something. I didn't know what it was but when I woke up it was gone. I sat there with my head rested on my knees. I could feel that John wasnt back yet and it kind of made me sad.

I started the car and drove along the highway. I pulled into the driveway and turned off the car. I sat in the car and closed my eyes.

I flipped over the picture and looked at who killed him. A smile danced on my lips as I saw the familiar name, my dad. I slid the picture into my pocket and closed the box. I sat there thinking, where could they be hiding...
