Not So Happy Birthday!!!((Closed, Started))

I saw headlights in the window. I sat up abruptly, and looked around. Was it him? Was it his brother? I asked myself. I wanted to go to the window and look out but what if whiever it was saw me.

I got out a closed the door, clicking the keys to look it. I walked inside and slowly took off my coat placing it on the rack. I couldn't speak, all that was in my mind was the little boy's body, lifeless and the tears of his family. I shuddered and walked into the room.

I saw the sorrow on his face. "what's wrong?" I asked him concerned taking a step towards him then stopping, not sure if he wanted any help

"I lost him," was all I could say. I placed my hand on the counter for support my back turned to Mel. "Is all my fault, he was so young," I whispered.

I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist. "It wasn't your fault." I said resting my head on his back.

I took a deep breath. "I let his life just slip out of my hands," I said turning to face her.

I Looked up at him. "There was nothing you could have done." I said

I looked down at the floor, "I don't think I can do this any more, the whole doctor career."

"Your a doctor?" I asked "Thats amazing."

"I was, until I killed that 8 year old boy." I turned and headed to my room.

"Wait." I said running after him.

I left the bedroom door open. I turned to her.

"How did the little boy die?" I asked quietly

I looked down at my hands, I slowly closed my hand into fists. I walked over and sat on the edge of the bed. "When this kid has a doctor like me who is stupid. Who took the risk of doing an operation on him even though he was sick. He had less then a week his heart was getting worse and when I heard there was a heart for him I just had to jump on it to at least try to save his life. But..." I could feel tears, "I killed him instead no more than 20 minutes into the operation things were looking good and he just died, we did everything to bring him back but still he sat there lifeless.All because of me."

I walked over and sat next to him. "Then there was nothing you could have done if there wasn't a way you could have brought him back."

I looked at her with pleading eyes. I leaned in and kissed her.

I smiled and pressed my lips harder againest her's.

I wrappe dmy arms around his neck and leaned into him.

I wrapped my arms around her back and pulled her onto my lap.

I straddled his hips. and kissed him.

I ran my hand through her hair and pushed us on the bed.

I drank my coffee and spread put everything I had about the wolves. There was something missing, but what

I moaned and ran my hands up his back.
