The Summer of Six Wishes

I took off one of the candles and handed it to Kyle, then Landon, then Jess, then Alice, and finally Jake. "Everyone make a wish." I said picking off the last candle. "1....2...3." I closed my eyes and blew wishing to become published one day.

I blew on my candle and wished that I could start being a better person.

I blew out my candle softly, wishing I could be less quiet and shy.

I blew out the candel wishing to be famous

I opened my eyes. Everyone's candle was blown out. "Time to cut the cake!" I grinned trying to keep the mood light.

I went and grabbed paper plates, plastic forks, adn a cake cutter. I came back and started cutting the cake. I handed everyone they're piece.

"I want a small peice." I said not really likeing the icing on thoes cakes.

"Th-Thank you." I smiled shyly and began to slowly eat my piece.

I gave Landon a small piece and everyone else a piece. When it was all said and done there was a little bit left. I would leave it for now, but somebody should deafintly smash it in Dylan's face.

I ate my cake quickly and threw away my plate.

I finished a few minutes later and threw my plate away.

I blinked a few times and giggled a bit.

I couldn't help but laugh

I pulled the plate off of my face and smashed what was left into Jake's face. I started giggling.

I laughed.

I smiled and actually laughed

I whipped my face and then went to the bathroom to wash what I didn't get.

I threw away my plate and the plate that held the smashed piece of cake laughing.

I threw my plate in the trash, still laughing.

I smiled and stayed silent.

I finished washing my face and hands off and came back.

"So how are you, Alice?" I knew she didn't talk much but it was worth a shot.

"You missed some." I said to Dylan and smiled

I sighed "Where?" I asked him. I was sure I got it all.

I had icing on my finger. "Right here." I said and put it on her nose

I rolled my eyes and wiped it off with my finger. "Funny," I said wiping it on his cheek.
