| Oh, well that's better xD
The red carpet premiere is being held 30 minutes away from where I live. And I think for us it was going to be on March the 12... but I can't go because I wasn't one of the lucky winners to get tickets U.U It was a contest that's why

| haha I was planning on doing that, you know drag my sister with me, hide from police, jump on the actors (preferably Jack Quaid or Josh hutcherson) and then I could die happily.. the usual fangirl stuff xD
Yeah, I'll probably do that if my sister could go with me(:

| Aha, when I was 14, I did it for the Twilight premiere. (It was before they butchered them. :/) It was a fun experience if we didn't get pushed out of the way. We'd stood there all day, it sucked. But, nevertheless. I really wanna go to THG one, I may just end up going anyway, just to see how it's rolling. I can get someone to come with me, even just for a little bit. :3 | |

| I've never been to one. I liked the Twilight books before everything happen. I thought it was a good story line and everything. Just that the movie ruined it. I don't know, I just thought they could have done something better with it
Well when my sister gets home from school I'll ask her about it. And if she can't we'll just watch it live that day (its better than nothing (: )

| Oh, I've been to Twilight and Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows pt.2. Hahah. Both were experiences I won't forget, I mean, I didn't get to meet anyone, but the atmospheres are amazing to be emerged into. They really are. <3
I know what you mean with Twilight, the films cut it up into tiny pieces and fed it to 10 year olds. Haha. ^.^

I agree. I thought Finnick's death was completely unnecessary, though. There was no reason to kill him off like that..
Finnick was my all time favorite character. xD<3 They're supposed to be making Moockingjay into two movies, though. So you'll probably be old enough to go to at least the last one? :]

EXACTLY. :c I mean, I know they needed important people to die. But I just loved Finnick too much. Him and Annie.<3 oh wow. But with all the other people that died I felt like he could have lived, and it would have just been completely fine. And yeah, Katniss just.. Didn't even react as much as I wanted her to when he died. I cried when I read it. ._. I had to full on stop reading because I was so upset.

| Finnick was my favorite as well<3 - Spoiler:
I think that Suzanne killed him to show that not everyone ends up happily ever after (even though no one at the end was truly happy) Finnick was the only one who was truly happy at some point. He got married with the one he truly loved and he had finally let out all those secrets he had to keep hidden. In war, not everyone survives and Suzanne was making a point here. As much as I hate the idea that she killed him off, I think its what was supposed to happen. And yes I couldn't believe it when I first read it. I had to re-read it over more than five times until it finally hit me and I started sobbing. Such a perfect character dead. And after that I just couldn't stop crying. It did kind of hurt me when Katniss didn't react at all to his dead but then I realize that its truly how life is, in war especially. People die everyday. It happens fast, before you know it, it’s not in slow motion, and there is no epic duel that ends up taking their life.
Then there's the part where Gale is taken away and before that when Peeta goes off on his own to creat a diversion. I cried here as well because I thought they would both die (even though I didn't like Gale here either that much But I didn't cry when Prim died... I was sort of in shock. It actually tore my heart in the buttercup scene ;----; and then I thought I calmed down.... until Finnick and Annies son was mentioned.
I'm sorry if I wrote too much. Just needed to get that out ;--;

I just wish they had let someone be happy. It felt like such a horrible ending to me. And yeah, I read the part where he died like a billion times before it hit me and I cry just thinking about it. D: I got so attached to his character. I felt like he was the most relatable. Peeta was too perfect at some points, he wasn't really realistic. And Gale was just a jerk at some points and, I don't know. The fact that both of them were madly in love with her was a bit Twilightish.
NOT THAT I'M COMPARING IT TO TWILIGHT. ._. it's in no way like Twilight. Aside from the love triangle. But Finnick loved Annie, the mad girl. And I thought that was just perfect. And their son. I bawled for what seemed like hours at that. I mean it may have made the book better, but I was seriously obsessed with him and she just killed him off. And it was quick. But, if she had taken her time and slowly killed him, telling each detail I wouldn't have been able to handle it.
And I didn't cry when Prim died either. I felt like I knew she was going to die, actually. And her death was super fast. Like I didn't even realize she was dead at first. ._. I had to reread that part too. xD But the part with Buttercup, I cried a little, ngl.
.________. I clearly talk to much.. Sorry. xD

| it's okay haha
- Spoiler:
@FallenInLove yeah, obviously some main characters had to die and they did, Cinna, Prim, Boggs, almost the whole Star Squad, I just got really sad with Finnick. It was all so perfect for him, being married to Annie and all. What hurts the most was that did he even know Annie was pregnant? I suppose to anyone who wasn't attached to Cinna or Prim, who I both cried over, Finnick's death really just drove the point home that it is a war, and there will be heavy losses on both sides. I accept he had to die, but I'm still sad that he did. And Katniss more or less became immune to grief in Mockingjay. I don't know if that was a result of going through the Hunger Games twice or what, but she failed to react realistically to a lot of deaths. I love Katniss with all my heart, but it really irritated me that she didn't give their deaths a second thought. But still, Mockingjay ended much better than Twilight did. The ending of Breaking Dawn was so anti-climatic it was unbelievable. In Panem, war was inevitable, and half of the good guy's would have to die, as well as the bad guys.
Sorry, wrote too much | |

Not a smart idea to read this while listening to Safe and Sound ;--; I agree with everything you said, though. Finnick's death was definitely the one that effected me the most. He was my favorite character; though I loved Peeta a lot, as Chey said, he was just too perfect at times and it was hard to imagine it as being real. Finnick at the other hand, and his love for Annie. I love the fact that they fell in love, and that it wasn't the perfect boy falling in love with the perfect girl. It was sweet, and very touching. I keep remembering the scene in Catching fire where he heard her screams. I will be a sobbing mess when I see that made into a movie.
I kind of wanted them to make his death a bit bigger though. Not like dragging it out into this ridiculous, dramatic thing where everything is happening in slow motion before everyone falls down to the floor in tears, but you know, some kind of emotion showing. If I remember right, Katniss felt a bit like a robot when he died. I don't know. I just wanted something more, just a sentence or something. I see why his death was necessary, but I wish it was someone else instead. Of course, Suzanne probably knew that this would effect the readers the most, which was what it was supposed to do.
But by the Angel the movie >.< I loved it. Or, well, I think I did. It was hard to tell when everyone was screaming all the time. Seriously. The characters didn't even have to do something and someone was screaming with excitement. Anyways, I'm going to watch it again sometime later on when all the excitement have died down.
I hated Glimmer in the movie, though. Don't get me wrong, the actress was wonderful and perfect, but I wanted to strangle her the whole way through. I cannot remember Glimmer and Cato in the book (maybe they did?) but that bothered me immensely, because I love him with Clove.

| I know what you mean about the movie in the cinema! Unlucky for me, I was sat behind a massive group of girls, there must have been about thirty of them! They were screaming their heads off at Katniss & Peeta's cave kiss and they were crying so loudly when Rue died! So annoying. I had to go back and see it again, which I'm not complaining about. And the Mockingjay scenes in Catching Fire will have me in a real Zoey-style snot cry! I <3 the Josh Hutcherson quote in your siggy by the way, funny and true | |

Same here! And once the girls started screaming, the guys screamed back at them to shut up until everybody was screaming. It was chaos, chaos. I'm hoping to book a ticket soon so that I can see it again. Then I can fully enjoy it. I'm amazed how true they stayed to the book though. I barely missed anything. I think it would have been interesting to see the Avox girl there, but I understand why they had to cut it. The only thing that I really missed was Cato running to Clove when she died. Because if my memory serves me right, that happened in the book. Though, it could just be my shipper heart making up scenes in my head.
And yes, he is quite funny! Seems like a great guy, from what I know ^^

| haha, never heard of Cato/Clove shippers before . And I was kinda disappointed about Lavinia, because I hadn't finished Mockingjay at the time and I thought she might have held some importance. Turned out she didn't... she was really just a plot device to introduce Avoxes. oh well. I'm really happy the HG fandom didn't turn into a copy of Twilight. "Team Gale! Team Peeta!" argh, shut up, fangirls | |
