This contest is for those who don't do happy poetry,but prefer more emotional,Dark poems,maybe they're scary,maybe they're sad,maybe even happy but in a twisted way that most wouldn't get. But its mostly for the FUN of it.So enjoy yourselves.(:

She sits alone in her room
Wishing her family would love her
Wishing her friends would talk to her
Wanting to fit in somewhere in life

From under her pillow she recovered
A blade she used to cut herself
To her throat she held it steady
One quick slit and she was dead

Later that day her boyfriend found her
He wept at the body of his true love
Out of her hand the blade to his throat
Cut across he joined her forever

I have this little secret,
that only I can know:
it's something hidden in my smile.
something i can never let go.

So big it can shatter your world.
So big, it makes murder nice
I will never let anyone hear it,
because nothing else could suffice.

Only one person can possibly guess it
and here's why it cant be said:
This person who knows my secret
is rotting, cold and dead.

She's got a nice face,
but so many rumors.
All rumors of being a whore.

Years later.
Everyone saw what these lies did to her.
You loved her, but never helped.

Now tapes arrive and you hear her story.
From her first kiss to her death.
How you were her Romeo for one night.

Now you sit there and let tears fall.
Over the girl you loved for years.
Now a new day.

The once popular.
Now on the verge.
You finally go and help a girl you love.

One word saves her.
When you finally say it.
"Skye."

The cuts on my wrist
Have been unoticed for a while
I hide my depression
With the lies of this smile

My Life is trash
unwanted and having no point
I always do everything wrong
I always happen to dissapoint

I dont want this anymore
You know where I' going to go
Straight Down to hell
With a final Blow
But Now I am gone
And now I am free!

Drop of a Dime
Today is just another night
In my sad pathetic life
Every morning starts out fine
But then things crash at the drop of a dime
And every night I'm in my room
Looking at pictures of you
And remembering what we've been through
The nights we stayed up talking
Or the stories that were all so shocking
Man do I miss those days
But now my life is just crazed
I wish you never had to go
But I guess it was time for you to end your show
That phone call ruined my life
I didn't want to go another night,
With out you by my side
But I guess we were just along for the ride
Because the world has forgotten you
And everything that you used to do
And this endless sea of time
Continues at the drop of a dime

No Longer Waiting
I remember being 5
And sitting on my porch
Just waiting for you to come around
I waited hours
But you never showed
I'd go inside and everyone would know
They'd all be sympathetic
But they didn't understand
How you made me feel inside
Like I wasn't meant to even be alive
So I'd run to my room and cry
Not like you even cared
You never even showed your face again

Then you called me at 9
And I was so surprised
I thought you were clean
But you were still a mess
All you did was make me stress
You left me again
When all I needed was a friend
I didn't ask much of you mom
I never asked you to sing me a song
To put me to bed
Or to give me a place to rest my head
I just wanted to know you cared
Well I guess you've made your point very clear
So next time you come around

Never Forgotten
People walk and talk with such happy lives
Can't I smile such a sweet smile?
Can't I laugh such a care free laugh?
But I can't, not anymore
I wish I could go back to the way things used to be
Before I began to hate myself
And before I took that scissor to my wrist

When I see the scars upon my wrist
I think not of what put them there
But that I just want to forget them
Forget why I felt the way I did
Forget why I ever did such a stupid thing

Now I know I can never forget
Things that are permanantly planted on your skin
Are there to be remembered
Things that have faded
Were meant to be forgotten

I am who I am because of those sad scars
Now I can never forget
Forget who I am
Forget who I was
Forget what I went through
Never again will I look at these scars and wish to forget
Now I will look at them and smile
Smile because they will never let me forget

Train
Our song plays in my head
And now I just want to go to bed
My head hurts from crying over you
And I wonder if you miss me too
The days have gone by slow now that I'm alone
I want to talk to you, I wish you had a phone
But there's no phone where you went
You were either heaven or hell sent
And no matter how alone I feel
I've just got to real
I'll never feel your prescense again
No one can make me feel better, not even a friend
And now that your gone
It's time for me to end my song
So the next time someone's see's me
I'll be free

Hurtful Lies
Love is such a questionable word
It can be the sweetest word you'll ever hear
And make you feel all special and dear
But it can also be the word that crushes you
The word that makes you wonder
If everything you do
Is worth doing
When I hear those words escape your lips
I trully want to believe it's true
But then there's the times you say you hate me
When I know it is just a lie
An act you put on to make me feel a bit better inside
But you don't realize how much the things you say affect me
Because every single lie and hurtful thing you've said
Has been etched in my mind
So every night when I go to bed
And close my eyes
Those words will circle through my head
"I love you," Being amongst the lies

A girl with perfect everything?
Or the me you don't know?

You see a bubbly girl with everything.
But what am I truly?
I am a girl.
A girl who has never been perfect.
Not even close.

Nothing is good from me.
Not even this.
You say I'm not that.
But look into my eyes.
See the pain? The lies?

I lost who I am.
To all these silly lies.
So you believe every lie now.

I lie to family.
To friends.
To stangers.
Even to myself.

I am far from perfect as the others.
Much like them inside.
But here, be me and you'll see.
See that what and who I am is a disgrace.

People would look and stare,
If I was me.
Do you get why I lie?
To fit in with those I hate.

But I am getting tired.
I wish to be me and with others my kind.
If only there were more here,
And not over there.

So I lie,
Hide and,
Die inside.
Just to live that perfect life you think I have.

What do you see?
What is in my eyes?

Or a girl who never lies?
The pain is clear.
How are you blind?
You claim to feel the same.
But yet you can't see past my lies.
Will you learn to tell the truth?

Oh I still did not.
Take a chance and see past my lies.

I gave you my heart to keep
Even though it was too precious
I never wanted to let you go
Even though you broke it before

I tell you every night i love you
You never seem to get the message
I don't know if i should trust you

Mommy Dearest

I looked into her eyes in the review mirror, there was nothing there
Only black emptiness of her broken soul burned through
She had strapped me to my chair
Escape wasn’t possible
I was scared, I was terrified
I wanted to scream
I wanted to cry
But I knew I couldn’t, for it would only anger her
Then I felt it
Darkness and its overwhelming power to take me under
I knew if I let it, I would never wake again
As I fought against its strong hold, I looked into her eyes once more
Her cold, vacant eyes locked on mine
“Why mommy?” I whispered
I stared into her empty soul, as my life drifted from me at far too young an age

Susan Smith went to the police claiming her two boys were kidnapped. But she really drugged them, strapped them to their car seats, and rolled the car into a lake so they drowned to death. She did it because she was having an affair and her lover didn't want children. Prue evil.

I'm waiting for the day,
When I'll stop acting.
No more smiles, no more love.
You and your Paramour.
I hate you not her.
That day where you hear.
"I hate you, and never loved."
You'll be so sad.
But I'll smile and move on.
Your so happy that I held your hand.
But all I did was think of music,
And let you do your thing.
I rejected all atemps at comuntication.
I said no to all ideas.
So shut your mouth and see,
we all hate you and want you gone.
So be your pompus,
But you have no money,
Take your Paramour.
Your pompus,
But so poor.
I hope you like to party as an old man,
With no money or love,
As you rot in hell.
