Yeah. It's really disturbing. My senior year of college I did a project on Filicide. I learned a lot really crazy and sad things. It was hard to wrap my mind around. It's a really, really unimaginable phenomena. Medea is a interesting play to read if you want to know more about.

Whoa. I just realized that Zoey picks to read Medea in Hunted. That's kind of creepy that I started talking about this and then mentioned that play. Weird.

I don't know if the contest is still going on, but I have one more poem. I warn you though it is gruesome.

“Look what you made me do”, he growled

Raw anger and hatred unleashed itself on me

A forceful, unrelenting hand gripped my throat strangling
the scream that was rising

Another greedy, filthy hand ripped and tore at the only
material protecting me from him

This monster, a stranger who was once a friend began raping
not only my body, but my heart and soul

A scream of pain escaped

Tears of unimaginable sorrow flowed down my burning face

All that I’ve ever known of trust, friendship, of love had
been shattered

I let myself fall into the dark stillness of my mind

The only escape I had

I felt him leave

I heard the door slam

Cuts and bruises marked my skin branding me as his victim

Stains of blood on white sheets weren’t the only things that
wouldn’t wash away

He had taken apart of me that I could never get back

Rape is never justified.

I Hate It When

I hate it when.
Someone says a nice thing,
And you find its a lie.
That hurts yes,
They say to suck it up.
And I do,
Put a smile on everyday,
No matter what you say.
But I hate it most when,
I've been nice and fair.
Then you come and say to my face,
''I don't even feel sorry for such an ugly creature.
No wonder all your 'friends' hate you.''
Con't you have sensiblity and see?
That what you say kills me inside,
Everyday you make me want to die.
I never did wrong.
Never took too long.
So I hate it when,
You make me want to die.
Cause thats when all I need is love,
And there is no love for me.
