I sighed feeling general sympathy for her "Listen Amelia, I know it's hard. I know how you feel you can't go back to the place your siblings died, but that does not mean just because of your own personal sad reasons you keep these guys, Nat who is so young and sweet, and Amber who is hurt and dying, Faith who is sad and loney... You can't keep them here barley surviving when they can come to the white house where our leader David, has provided a stable place of shelter, with a garden full of food, clean real beds, medicine and actual medical equipment, and more hound kids like Nat. It is better for these kids and you know it, and you can't make your decision not to go just because of your family tragedy, because we all, everyone of us, have it." I said, somewhat out of breath

I put a hand on her shoulder "Are you sure? I could get you some water? I heard you make a sick sound? Did you get bit? Do you have a fever?" I asked worriedly, moving my hand from her shoulder to her forehead to cheek her temperature

I heard what he said when I walked by. "Amii, he's right. We should follow him to the white house. It's better for them yo go there."

I pulled my legs up to my chest and sighed. Watching you makes me sick. I stood up. No one would need to take care ofme anymore. I would do it all by myself. I walked to the bathroom.

"I am keeping no one here they can leave whenever they want to"I let out a sigh"I think it would be a good idea for all of the kids so they don't go insane"

" Devin. I'm not sick. I was only making that sick noise cause i'm sick of watching you and Amber."

I took of the band aid and made a face. Ugh, I hate wounds. I took some water and started to clean it.

Amber left the bathroom door ajar just slightly and I saw her cleaning her wounds. I opened the door softly and leaned against the frame "Oh so you'd rather do it yourself than have your best friend do it huh?" I said and smirked

I nodded "This is great news. David will be pleased. When shall we leave?" I asked, my brow furrowing

I chuckled and widened my eyes in surprise "Sick of watching Amber and I? We don't do anything" I said and chuckled again

"I don't know it is up to everyone to make up there own minds if any of them stay I will stay"I said looking him straight in the eyes

I looked back and covered the wound with my hand. "I can do things myself."

" Sure whatever. Just go leave me alone to sulk in silence and what not."

I raised an eyebrow "Really? Is that a good attitude to have?" I asked her serious

I nodded my head "Mmm Hmm. I see. Well I will be right here if you need assistance." I said


I shook my head "I don't think that is a good idea. We can't just split up the group. Dangerous." I said

" For me it is. I'm an expection." i felt like crap. Wouldn't he just run off to Amber make her feel better and leave me here. " Why do you even care. You got what you wanted."

"I will not force anyones will"I looked at Nick"are you staying or going"I asked him with a serious look on my face

I nodded and continued to wash the wound. I could do it by myself.

I crossed my arms over my chest and rolled my eyes "The reason I care is because I care about you, Faith. And that is not exception, not one whatsoever. Why are you acting so-so.. Are you mad at me?" I asked finally.

I shook my head and looked at Nick "We need you to come oh mighty GrownUp killer. We need all the protection we have to get to the big house. It is approximately a two week journey." I said

I chuckled "Okay Miss Independent, so where is your dashing brother?" I asked and smirked

"Her dashing brother is right here and fairly pissed off that I'm not allowed to help my sister clean her wound when it's obvious she has no idea of what she's doing" I said and crossed my arms over my chest, walking over to them.

I scoffed. "I know exactly what I'm doing. And I can take of myself. I don't need anyone to worry or care about me" I said.

I grinned. "Oh mighty GrownUp killer. I like the sound of that" I said, then got serious. "Of course. We need to be prepared."

" Nope. I'm just have a lot on my mind." I didn't trust him or anybody here. I had a hard time trusting people.

I nodded"so he is going"

"Like what?" I asked

I rolled my eyes "Well sorry to break it to you sweetie, but you happen to have quite a few people who care, worry, and love you." I said

I shook my head again "I think we should all go" I said

I sighed"I don't know"

"Exactly, and I think you're making it worse" I frowned and looked at her wound.

"Well, if you love me let me take care of myself. And no I'm not!"

I nodded. 2Yes, we shouldn't leave anyone here" I said.

I sighed"ok"

I nodded. "I'll go tell some people" I said and walked to the bathroom where Becka, Amber and Gale were. "We're going to the White-- what the hell are you doing Amber?"

"I'm cleaning my wound!" I snapped and covered it again. "I know what I'm doing."

"Are you sure? It looks like you're making it worse."

I sighed and sat on the ground and stared looking at my locket again"I promised I would never return again"I whispered

i sighed " Um... my father. other things." Why did he want to know anyways?
