I nodded"ok we need to get away soon"

"I know." I said my face flaming when Mercedes removed her skirt, clearing my throat I returned to the water keeping my back to the women and ducking my head under the water again to cool off.

I walked over to Mercedes"let me help you with that"

"Oh, no. It's fine. Really."

I broke the surface of the water and looked back, stareing at her bared legs unable to look away.

I swallowed hard. My skirt was all bloody now. I had to use another item of clothing... "To he'll with this." I said taking off my shirt.

I was stunned by her boldness and swallowed at the site of her standing in her underwear, I'll never be able to look at her again if she keeps this up I thought to myself, glad that the water was hiding my lower body.

It was really cold and I shivered pressing my shirt to my leg. I felt someone watching me and I saw Josh staring at me. I quickly turned away worried.

I looked at John and hissed at him grabbing her by the neck"I am sick of this and hungry and you look tasty"I smiled showing my fangs

"Amillia, leave her alone." I said shaking my head.

"why"I hissed looking at him my eyes blood red with thirst

I screamed. "John! Help!" I lost my voice suddenly.

"think would you." I said leaving the water to stand beside them, "you drink she dies, they have a way to find us." I explained, reaching out to cup Amillia's cheek in my hand.

I dropped her and started crying"I am so thirsty though"

I took her into my arms, "I know, we'll find somewhere soon, I promise." I said resting my chin on the top of her head.

I nodded"ok John my love"

I smiled and let her go, "come on you." I said holding my hand out for macedes.

I glared at him"why are you so nice to her"I thought to him

because she's just a scared little human who will have to come with us from here on out. I replied still waiting to see if she'll accept my hand up or not.

I sighed and wrapped my arms around him"love you John"

I smiled, "love you to Amillia." I whispered.

"can we find something though on the way"

"yes, of course, we all have to eat." I said nodding.

I smiled"good"

I stared at his hand not taking it. "What are yOu?" My voice was shaky.
