The Summer That Changed Us

I smiled

I stopped dancing, turned off the CD player and left making sure the light was turned off. I wen tot the theater cabin, you could see some pretty interesting plays or skits if you came at the right time.

"My friend tried to make me dance once. She ended up in the hospital" I said.

I walked to the theatre cabin.

I flicked the lights on as I walked in


I looked at the piano keys

I shrugged, "You choose" I told her


I smiled, "I left Collins and Troy in the music room" I told him, "We talked"

I opened the door to the theater cabin. "Seriously? Sorry Nick, I seem to keep interrupting you... and my sister?" I asked confused.

I laughed nervously. "I'm gonna step back now." I said and took a couple steps back.

"Erm, and now my sister and Nick are hugging." I said. "Getting slightly awkward."

I grinned at her. "Hey Elizabeth" I said.

"So yeah...dancing is not my thing" I said.

"This time I defentlly interrupted something." I said.

"Yeah... did that person recover?" I asked.

"I'm just playing around. You don't have to leave. It's just a hug. Do you want one?"

"Kind of. She can walk, but she's still limping" I said sadly.

"Uh..... okay?" I said sort of freaked out.

"Aw it's okay." I patted her shoulder.

I laughed at her face. "You don't have to hug me if you don't want to" I said and pretended to dry away a tear.

I shook my head. "Not really. She hasn't spoken to me since."

I laughed, "Hey Liz" I smiled, "You're not interrupting" I shrugged, "A hugs a hug"


"Name a song" I told her

"Okay if you say so." I said. "And, um, I'll hug you, don't cry... there, there." I said.

"Do I want to know what happened?" I asked.
