Love In Wonderland(marked by nyx and courtney only)

I sighed and walked next to her. "Are you still married to that cheater?

I held up my left hand. "I stopped wearing my ring a year ago."

"But you are still legally bound to him," I said taking her left hand in my own.

"Before I dropped here I had a week left until it was anulled. but alas i dont know if a week has gone by or not."

I frowned. "I can't answer that question for you," I said sadly. "But assume that after 1 week has gone by here it would have over there."

I nodded and kept on walking....

I sighed. "Did you ever love him?"

"I don't really know" I said softly.

"Then I'll take that as a 'no'," I said.

"hell...what's love suppose to mean now a days anyways?"

"It means that you care for a person as more then a friend," I said. "You would be more then willing to give your life for them. To think... no.... to know that you would never be happy really and truly without that person again. That is what it means to love."

"Have you felt that way?" I asked

I blinked. "I thought I might have once," I said. "But I'm happy without her. And out of pure honesty it was just a strong friendship I felt for her. Never love."

I nodded..

"What about you? Ever feel something more for someone?"

"wasn't really given the chance"

"Well then I hope you are given one sometime in the near future."

"maybe"

I smiled at her. "Are you hungry or would you rathe walk with me?"

"walking"

"Shall we?" I asked as I walked with her towards the exit out to the gardens.

I followed

I nodded to her and walked out into the gardens. It was full of roses. Not so much of choice as they were always there. But there was the slight difference in that some of the roses were red and if you found a vase of roses they were died black. Red for the past. White for the future. Black for the present.

I noticed the roses.

I sighed. "Care to continue walking?"
