"I didn't mean to sound so harsh.."

"You didn't," I said softly. "I just forget that you aren't from around here sometimes."

I nodded..

I sighed. "Tell me about your world," I said.

" nothing to tell" i said

I rolled my eyes. "Do you have apples in your world?' I asked standing up and picking a golden apple and showing it to her.

"We have apples....green,red,yellow.." I trailed.

I nodded. "Are they sweet? Spicy? Tangy?" I asked as I took a bite out of my golden apple and tasted the jelly like substance start to ooze out. Perfectly ripe.

"Mixture of sweet and bitter...depends on the apple you get...."

I nodded. "Anything else about it?"

"No."

"Alright then," I said. "They sound similar to our apples." Then I got up again and picked another apple and handed it to her. "This should be very similar at the least then."

i took a bite

"Well?" I asked.

I chewed and swallowed. my taste buds tingled. "they are so much better in taste then the one back home....."

"Describe it," I said. "How are they different?"

"I cant describe it....it just is.."

I nodded. "Then how would you describe this apple?"

"I told you. I cant describe it in words"

"Alright," I said. "Then just enjoy the few but easily taken for granted pleasures in life."

I was annoyed now. I threw the apple and got up and started walking away from him

"What?" I asked looking up at her start to storm off.

I kept going not caring that i didnt know my way around

I sighed. She was going to end up walking straight to the wall if she kept going like that. Guess I didn't have much of a choice. So I followed her.

I just kept going
