Perfect enemies?

I examined his expression , he was telling the truth

"Aren´t your friends supposed to be sitting with you?" I asked as I looked around

"Guess they got tired of you" I joked

"Well we have another thing in common today, we´re not with our friends. Brenda´s sick" I said
