| "My room," I said softly. "I tired to wake you up earlier but it didn't work out too well."
I saw a servant walking around with a bag. A bag that I didn't recognize either! "You," I said sharply. "Peasant."
"What is in the bag? Who's is it? And where did you get it from?" I paused only for a second before snapping "Well?!"
"Sir. You're brother has just arrived home with the princess," the male servant said. "I'm not sure what is in the bag but I know that I am supposed to drop it off in front of the prince's bed room."
My eyes narrowed at the peasant. "You did not check this in with the guards did you?"
"Sire?" he asked in a scared voice.
"You need a good lashing after you finish delivering this," I said coldly. "10 should do you fine not to forget. But should you be late it will be multiplied by 2 for every minute you are late." I smiled at him so he wouldn't soon forget. I gave the man back his bag and cracked my knuckles. My brother knew nothing of what I did to the servants. So I always had my mental shield up so he wouldn't accidently come across something he should not be tampering with. | |
