I smiled and brought her hand to my lips and kissed her knuckles. I didn't know why I did it but I had wanted to do it all night.

I watched him and it felt like my entire body had turned red. Though it was impossible it still felt like it. He made me nervous. But in a good way.

I looked at her intently. "There is something about you that is just, amazing."

"I don't know how." i looked down away from his gaze.

I scooted my chair over and lifted her chin to look at me. "You are amazing."

"Nothing's amazing about being destructive." i told him as i looked at him.

"But there is something amazing about how you want to learn how not to be so destructive." I said "It would be totally different if you didn't care at all."

I looked into his eyes, he had a point. "Okay." i nodded. I took in a deep breath and nodded again as i tried to convince myself that what he said was true.

I smiled at her and hugged her. "Your different, you want to care."

"Because of you." i smiled at him and hugged him back.

I pulled back and looked at her, "I didn't do anything, all this is all you."

I shook my head. "If i hadn't of met you, i'd be out there." i nodded towards the door. "Murdering."

"Murdering sounds alittle harsh, lets call itwalking around without the knowledge to stop." I said not likeing to watch her sad.

"Fine, walking around without the "knowledge to stop." " i air quoted as i moved my hands to my lap when the steaks were set in front of us.

I thanked the waiter, "Just think of it this way, you will never have to kill someone again." I said hoping it would make her feel better.

"I hope its that easy." i picked at the steak.

Me too. "It will be." I said and sank my fangs into the steak.

I ate and finished my steak in silence. When i finished i wiped my mouth with a napkin. "That was great." i said and stared down at the empty plate.

I smiled "Would you like another one?"

I looked up at him. "Oh, no, i'm good." i smiled. "That was good, it hit the spot." I relaxed in the chair. "I'm stuffed."

I smiled at her. "Are you ready for desser?"

"Dessert too? Huh," i smiled. "I'll have to remember that beating you in race horsing has some good perks." i smiled. "Sure, why not."

I laughed "But just remember that foot race is next and that is where you will lose." I teased.

"Oh i highly doubt that." i laughed.

"So you keep saying but you are just going to me dissappointed."
