Pirates of the Caribbean: Time to move on (private)

I sighed. I barely remembered his face.

"I'm sorry Jack," I said going over to hug my son.

I shrugged and went for a walk.

I watched as my son walked away.

"I'll go get him," I said as I walked towards young Jack.

I sighed. "what do you want Jane?"

"To talk," I said. "Or rather to hear you talk Jack."

"To hear me talk about what?"

"Your father," I said stepping next to him to match my strides. "Dad's told me about him. How he was honorable. Kind. But that's all I really know."

"I don't really know much about him either....Ive only seen him once..I was 10....but I knew from how he hugged me he loved me..." I said softly.

I sighed. "I'm sorry," I said. "He saved your life. And your mother's by killing Davy Jones."

I shrugged and kept walking.

I followed him but said nothing. "Since I never met Jack until recently my uncle was the closet thing I've had to a father," I said.

"It's just been me and my mom...and only seeing Jack from time to time...so i havent really had a male role model."

"But you love your mother don't you?" I asked. "She's pirate King. Better then a mother or a father."

"I do love my mother...but I don't really know what kind of man I am..."

"Your a pirate Jack," I said. "It's in your blood. And if your still questionable to it then you should just go ahead and take Barbossa's request. Be a pirate lord!"

"I am going to take his request. I want to live like a pirate....but I want to find love too...just find that one girl I can be happy with.." I said softly.

I frowned and looked away. "They kind-of contradict each other though," I said. "Unless you plan on marrying a piratess."

I sighed and kissed her forehead.

I froze when his lips touched my skin. "What was that for?" I forced out of unmoving, shocked lips.

"I wanted to know what it was like to kiss a girls forehead." I said and kept walking.

I blinked and watched him. I grabbed his hand automatically as we walked together. "Alright," I said softly.

I laced my fingers with hers. "Sorry. It's just your the first girl I've seen in my life besides my mother."

I blinked and watched him. "You're not kidding are you," I said. "Wow. I've met tons of people before. Pirates and other wise. It... I wouldn't be who I am without them."

"I'm not joking at all." I said. "But I wouldn't be who I am either without my mom."
