I sighed. "Just shut up. Youll get your f***ing A" I got up and walked away from him.

I watched her leave and sighed. We were supposed to turn in our stop watches now to see who had the best times.

I went to the locker room and changed.

Apparently we did have the best time so I would get to chose what we did next tie the teacher was out and after that Jasmine could. I sighed in the locker room and got dressed in my regular clothes.

I went to my car. It was the only place I could think of to go to.

When I got out I saw Jasmine walking towards the parking lot. I sighed and followed her. When she got in her car I tapped on her window.

I was gonna cry but something in me unlocked the doors.

I opened the door and got in with her. "I'm sorry," I said looking at her. She looked like she was going to cry.

"For what?" I asked trying not to let emotion to leak into my voice.

"For what happened earlier," I said. "For me telling you that it was just a grade and that... someone slapped you or hit you and I don't know who because you wont tell me."

"Why do you even care?" I asked.

"Because... of chocolate," I said. "And you need some right now by the looks of you."

"I highly doubt chocolate would help me." I said as a tear rolled down my cheek.

"Chocolate makes everyone feel better," I said. "No matter what happened."

"Why do you even want to know why someone hit me?" I asked as another tear rolled down my face.

"Because I'll help out anyone who's helped out me before," I said reaching across and wiping her tear away with my hand.

"What did I ever do that helped you?" I asked. It was pointless. My composure was lost. The tears would come faster soon.

"Yesterday," I said. "I probably wouldn't be this good if you hadn't suggested chocolate and the the lover metaphor thing."

"That was just stupid advise." I said and put my forehead on my stering wheel.

"But it worked fine with me," I told her with a smile.

"Your a guy. You'll believe anything."

"Not true," I said. "I always knew that the Easter bunny didn't exist."

"Amber." I said softly

I frowned. "What about her?" I asked.
