Ironic (1x1)

I smiled when we walked in, the host saw him and got us a table right away.

I pulled out her seat for her with a smile. "Madam ." i said with a cocky grin.

I laughed "Why thank you." I smiled

I smiled as i walked over the table to the opposite side. "Get whatever you'd like." i smiled handing her a menu.

I smiled and looked at it. I wasn't going to get anything uber expensive.

I stared at the menu. "What would you like?" i asked her still staring down.

"The chef salad." I said "That is the cheepest thing on the whole menue."

I looked up at her. "don't get something cheap." i told her. "What about steak?" i asked her.

I thought about it that sounded good. "I will take that." I smiled

I nodded with a smile and waved over a waiter. "A bottle of your finest champagne and the two steak dinners."

He walked away and took the order. I smiled over at Eric and took a deep breath. "So, what are you going to put in the auction?"

"An antic chest." i said as i sipped at the water. "I believe its worth quite a bit."

"Is there anything in it?" I Asked him

I rubbed my chin as i thought about it. "I don't remember, i'll check when i get home." i said with a nod.

I nodded. "Okay, because if you like the things that in it you can keep them the box itself will be worth alot." I said

((I will be back on later. I have to finish writing this paper so that i can get it in by 8 ))

I nodded. "Sounds good." i said and moved my hands out of the way when the waiter brought the bottle of champagne and glasses.

I smiled and waited for my glass to be poured but the waiter and I took a sip. "Now it is your turn. When were you going to tell me."

"When the time was right." i said as i set my glass down. "Its just really complicated." i said looking at her with a calm face.

"i think "I'm Married" is a statement you make before you sleep with someone. What if I told you I was married?"

"Because i wasn't even thinking about that fact." i said. "I would think either you had issues or you had a real reason behind it, and in this case i do have my reasons."

"and what are those reasons?""

"we got married right out of high school," i started. "We'd both never dated anyone else all our years of high school and well, i guess its just one of those things where you wish you could've been with someone else."

I looked down. "Have you cheated on her before?"

"No." i said honestly and the truth was i never did. There was something about her though that i liked, and it was easy to forget i was married.

"Why don't you divorce her?"
