Contracted Marriage(closed.)

When I was done eating and had drank my OJ I went into the bathroom to set up a bath with bubbles for myself.

I took off my clothes and went into the bathroom. I shut the door and then got into the tub.

I ran around town before going home. I knocked on the bedroom door, no answer. I walked in, she wasn't in here. I opened the bathroom door my hand flying over my closed eyes as I shut the door. "So so sorry Elizabeth!"

"Theres bubbles. So all you'll really see is my shoulders. What were you going to do?" I said.

I walked in, avoiding looking at her, "Come take a shower,"

"I was about to drain the tub and then rinse off. Also do I have any clothes here?"

I nodded, "They are in the closet. I didn't unpack, i figured you'd like to know where your own clothes were." I look through the cabiniets and grabbed teh ibuprofen, taking two.

"Okay." I said. I yanked the plug and let the water and soap drain. I stood up covered in soap bubbles. I closed the curtain and turned on the shower part to rinse off.

I kept my head as i bent down, looking for an ancle brace under the sink, my back compleatly to her.

When I was done with the shower I paused a moment. "Can you hand me a towel, please?" I asked.

"Sure," I grabbed one from the closet and grabbed one, holding it over the top for her.

I took it from him. Our fingers brushed slightly. I towel dried my hair, wiped down my body, and then wrapped the towel around me. I pulled the curtain back and got out.

I stepped back, she smelled like cherries after using the bath gel I'd put in there. "The right side of hte closet," i told her, "Is your things. If you can't find something, come get me. Okay?" I asked her.

I grabbed my hair brush and then sat down on the toilet and brushed out my hair. "How was your run?"

"Good, your bath?" I asked, pulling my shirt off.

My jaw almost dropped when I saw his chest. Only there was a scar...I wondered how he got it...."My bath was fine." I said looking at the mirror making sure my hair looked okay.

I saw her looking, "I got shot, 6th tour of Iraq," i took a deep breath, "and my best freind died."

"I'm sorry." I said softly.

I shrugged, "It was three years ago, I got over it. I save three others as I beld though,"

"Who was your friend?"

(if you want you can make it interesting by saying that her boyfriend was his best friend...)

My hand clutched the bathroom counter. I haden't herd that name for 3 years.

I looked at her, she looked like she saw a ghost, I walked over and knelt infront of her, "You alright?"

"Sargent Daniel Cutly was my former boyfriend." I said in a whisper.
