House Of Night For 13 Year Olds

I looked up and at him,I smiled,"Hey Owen how are you?"I asked as I held my books in my arms.

"GOod" I said as I ran my fingers through myu short hair

"Trying to think when Ill be able to get out of here to get my hair cut."

I nodded

"I have to get it cut or Seargent Cooper will freak"

I glanced at my schedule

"Wheres the equestrian building?" I asked

"Thanks Summer" I waved goodbye and headed towards the building. When I opened the door, the strong smell of horses adn hay invaded my nostrils.

I smiled and nodded before entering Drama.

An hour later, I walked out of the stable, bits of dusty straw stuck in my short hair. I walked over to where Summer and Cason were

"Hey guys." I said

I smirked,"Hey Owen... rolling in hay or something?"I teased.

I laughed abit as I pulled some gentley outta his hair.

"No, I was falling off the second floor into hay." I said and grinned.

I chuckled,"You need to shower or something then."

I smiled at both the boys.

`Yeah, I should.`I Looked at ny watch

Òh crap I gotta go.`I rushed off, changed into my uniforma nd started towards the gate. I tightened the belt around my stomahc adn measured my wedge.

I looked at Summer who just shrugged,"Come on we can hang,"I said as I lead her towards the gym.

I followed quitley.

I walked into the armory, the seagrents were already falling in the other Cadets. I wlaked into the formation and started the drills

I sat on the bleachers,I sighed as I looked around,"Wanna shoot hoops?"I asked him.

I shrugged,"Sure."

I walked out a while later, my wedge tucked into my belt, I walked into the House of Night and found Cason and Summer.

"Hey guys." I said weakly.

"How are you?"

I shot the ball into the hoop and looked over at Owen,"I'm good...you okay?"I asked him.

I looked at Owen.

"Just go back from Air Cadets" I explained

"THey put us through heck onight."

"Oh I see,"I said,"well supper is soon,"I shot the ball and missed,"you should rest till then,"I said as I stepped aside.

I grabbed the ball and shot.

I pullked the buckle off the front of my tunic and slipped it off. I pulled off my sweater and set them aside.

"Nah, I'm good right here."
