House Of Night For 13 Year Olds

I nodded,"Okay you going to Cason?"I asked him.

I nodded,"Yep,"I said.

"Okay night you too,"I said as I turned towards the hoop,I shot the ball again.

"NIght." I said. I wlkaed to my dorm adnw ent to the roof. I sat up there. Watching the horizon, I looked at the useless wings on my bacl

"What is the point of you." I said poking at one, although they had gotten a bit bigger the past couple weeks.

I flapped m wings, I felt a little lighter, but still wsan't moving any, I put my shirt back on and went to my room. I walked in

"Hey Dude." I said

"Sup?"I asked him as I looked from my laptop.

I frowned as I looked around,what if he's dead and no one was gonna tell me?I thought abit worried.

"Not much>" I pulled out a box from under ,y bed and opened it, it revealed a large box of different checmicals.

"Oh, I think I forgot to mention, I graduated from University with a doctoraate in chemistry>"

"I guess." I pulled out a pair of safety glasses

"Here, put these on.:" I tossed it over to him.

I slowly mixed two things together. I turned it upside down, they stuck perefectly

"Yes!" I shouted

"I finally did it!"

"What you do?"I asked him.

I walked into my dorm and quickly rushed towards my room.

"Watch." I put two pieces of steel on the table, spread the chemical on it and pushed them together.

"Now, normally, a piece of steel bends, but, with this." I smacked it on the side of the table, it shattered.

"Whoa,"I said as I watched it shatter.

I nodded and pulled out a piee of wood

"Lets hope this works." I poured on the chemical, I slammed it down and it shattered

"Haha, finally, they hired me to make a substitute for sugar glass, what they use in movies to make the efects when they go through a window or something."

"HEre, hand me that dish cloth." I held out my hand.

I found one quickly and handed it to him.

I tried it again, it shattered

"Haha, this is awesome."

I put it away

"Well, I just made 50 000 dollars" I said

"Whoa,"I breathed.

I grinned

"They pay chemists alot." I said. I got into bed.

"Im going to sleep. night." I was asleep almost instantly.

"Night,"I took the saftey glasses off and looked at the computer screen.

I woke up early that morning, Cason was already going. I wandered to the dafeteria, where I found him

"Hey" I mumbled.

"Hey there,"I said as I played with my oatmeal.

I walked into the cafe and sighed,"Mourning,"I smiled softly.
