Keifer is on a mission of life and death. He must escape from his clan leader in less than 72 hours or his punishment will be severe. On his run away from all he has ever known, he finds this gorgeous immortal girl that he falls for in an instant. She wishes to come with him on his journey but her father is the one young Keifer is trying to run away from. Their forbidden love could either bind them closer or rip them apart entirely. Keifer must choose if he is willing to abandon his vampire lifestyle for the girl or leave her to be tortured by her disasterous father figure.

I tiptoed silently into the crisp moonlight, i had been on the run now for half a day straight and was starving! i could tell i needed blood and i needed it fast. Roy had starved me before this little expedition i'm on and i could feel myself getting weaker by the second. i closed my eyes and just let my nose take me to the blood nearby; a small deer. with one pounce i landed right on its neck and began to feed. the liquid felt warm and familiar as it ran down my coarse throat. and though i was very much enjoying my dinner, i had no idea i was being watched by someone who would change the next few hours of my life drastically

The sense of being watched grew inside of me like a weed. I could not stop feeding until i got my fill of blood but i was nervous as to who was watching me drink. Finally i could feel my rage and uncontrolability start to wear off. i took one last gulp of now stale blood and turned sharply to the shadows on my left to see who was there.
"Come out and fight you old coward! C'mon Roy if you want to kill me now is the time to do so!" i bellowed out past the evergreen trees, praying no one would answer me.

I gave a greatful smile. "I've seen worse." I shrugged my shoulders and stared into his gorgeous eyes. "And me either, I dont think even after that little sesion I couldnt." I giggled lightly. "Please to meet you to Kiefer." I stood silently, holding my hands together by my sidde

" okie good. " i looked into her eyes again and found myself walking towards her and reaching my monsterously large hand out to her petite one. "i'd like to show you something, if you are up to it that is," i begged her with my eyes to let me show her my pride and passion.

I took his hand in mine with I smile. "Yes, I'll go."

" Great. " i smiled and started walking through the mystical forest. Walking hand in hand with Sayla put a permanent smile on my face. i took her carefully though shrubs and over weeds until i finally made it to my secret get away spot."Welcome to my paradise." i gestured around the falling over trees and crumbling walls. i didnt know why it was my secret thinking kind of spot but it just made me feel warm inside. i tugged her lightly by the hand over to a little sitting area near a recently burnt out fire pit. Clutzily then i fell over one of my paintings. i blushed a deep crimson red and sat down beside her, finally dropping her minute hand.

I smiled a little. "You paint?" I asked with a bit of excitement in my voice as he sat beside me

" Oh uhmm yeaa i sketch and then do a little painting on some of my very favourite uhhh pieces. Kind of ironic i think, vampires usually paint in all the horror films and r.l stine stories." i chuckled nervously, hoping she would still think of me as coooool.

"I think thats really awesome." I nodded. "Can I see any?" I asked, hoping he'd say yes

i was taken by surprise at that comment. "Uhmm yea sure." i pulled out a sunset over a lake with a couple holding hands and looking off into the distance and one of my favourites a red rose that was wilting out of the crystal vase it was in.

I starred in awh. "Woah." I whispered. These were the most beautiful painting I had ever seen. I smiled at him. "These are absolutely wonderful." I looked into his eyes. Just then we heard footsteps in the distance.



I walked slowly in the edge of bushes. "Kiefer!" I called loudly

" Oh crap!! " i ran t the curtained window and peaked out, yep it was Roy alright. i could smell him before i saw him. i rushed Sayla into a corner and yelled back to him. "What do you want, this isnt the way to play! you're suppposed to wait until the 72 hours are up before you come after me, you know the consequences to breaking your own rules dont you Roy?!" i was enraged at his betrayal and especially because i was putting Sayla in danger by having her here with me right now.
