Denial

i had to obey. obediently i strolled out of hiding and walked right in front of him. "Here you go, do with me what you wish."

"Fine Roy. Your the boss right?" i frown and give my best growl as i take the gun and go back into hiding. I had a few tricks up my sleeve and no way would i let Roy get the best of my and new found love for Sayla.

"Sayla! Sayla sweetheart where are you? Come out come out whereever you are we need to talk sweetiee."

I smiled at the sound of his voice, I ran up to him but when I saw the gun I went to scream but he covered my mouth, muffling my scream. I began to feel tears roll down my cheeks. No, no, no. I thought, I wanted to fight back, but what was the use

"Hi gorgeous." i could hear Roy all confused and frightened on the other side. i whispered in Sayla's ear the plan as i covered her mouth before she started screaming and ruined my revenge. She nodded and i kept on playing Roy like a childrens game. "im sorry it has to end this way Sayla...I love you..Good-bye."

She protested enough to make it believable and i shot the gun into the dirt. She collapsed like i told her to and i kissed her cheek before walking out back to Roy. "Your wish is my command. She's gone." i looked down at the ground and forced myself not to smile. i handed the gun back to him and held my head in my hands.

I smiled. "Good, you know orders my boy." I patted his cheek hard enough to leave marks. I turned to leave. "Oh and Kiefer." A cold grin painted my lips. "Be ready." I then disapeared.



I lay still on the ground shaking, scared out of my mind. My hands were clammy and any sound made me jump, silent tears fell down my sweaty face as he aproached me

" i am sooooo incredibly sorry Sayla, he wanted me to shoot you so i obviously had to make it seem like i obeyed his orders. Are you okie? Do you hurt anywhere? Can i do anything, please dont cry." i wiped her salty tears away and took her hand to my face." I was serious about that part i said by the way, i dont know how or why but for some reason i have fallen in love with you and i dont think i could ever stop. I know that aounds crazy but its the truth Sayla." i sat down, still holding her hand and waiting to see if i was the only one who felt this way.

I flinched when he first touched me, but i grew calmer as he took my hand to his cold cheek. I could feel the tears slide down and splash onto my arm as he spoke, I couldnt help but smile. "I-I I love you-you to." I said through sobs. I didnt quite know why I began crying so hard, happy maybe? I didn't know, but I gave up and just let my emotions take over. I fell into Kiefers chest and sobbed heavily, my chest wearing down from exaustion. I then looked up at his face. "I'm sorry." I said quietly

"Why are you sorry??!! You have done nothing wrong Sayla. Trust me on this Sayla this is entirly my fault and im sorry. I hope you can forgive me for this but right now i need you to trust me on this, that Roy guy that wanted me to shoot you is evil and you cant associate yourself with him or he will for sure kill you." i locked eyes again with her and instantly knew that i had to protect her from harm no matter what

I nodded. "Okay." I whispered. I took his hand and rested against his chest, looking up at the night sky. "I'm scared Kiefer, what if he comes after you." I looked up at Kiefers impecable features, his beautiful eyes, his slightly crooked noes and his lips. It was the most tempting and beautiful face I had ever seen.

"I know you are Sayla, i am too. I dont think we can stay here anymore. i dont want to ask anything of you but i need to run away from Roy, what are you going to do?" i was hoping she'd say she would come with me but i didnt know what she would do. i could feel her heart beating on my chest and it was the most peaceful thing i've ever experienced in my life.

I looked down at the ground and gave a sigh. "I'm coming with you." I shook my head. "And you can't stop me."

i chuckled,"Fiesty eh?" i tickled her sides and heard her amazing laugh filled the room."So Mexico??"

"AAAAACCCRIIIIBBBAAA!" I yelled snapping my fingers in the air

"Hahahahaha So is that a yes? Or we could go somewhere more remote and English speaking pheraps?" i joked around and poked her sides again to hear her brilliant laugh.

I let out a luagh, that was the most ticklish spot i had. "Where ever as long as its with you." I smiled

"I agree." I pecked her cheek and started thinking about their next couple of rocky days.

I held onto his hand, relaxing abit at his touch. I didnt quite understand what he was running away from, or why ti mattered that I was along with him. I tried not to think of why that Roy man was so evil, or what he may have ever done to Kiefer. I blinked back tears hoping it never happened at all, it made me cling to him tighter. I got on the tips of my toes and kisses his frozen cheek

"Oh Sayla you're frozen! C'mon lets get you inside." i ushered into the warmth of my hiding spot and mader her a hot cup of tea. "There you go, just relax i'll be right back." i kissed her head and ran out of sight.

I sat there with the cup of tea in shock. Where did he go? I hopped up quick, grabbed my sweater off the couch and ran into the night after him. I didnt know where to start, I didnt know what direction he could have gone in, I could lost with one turn. I wanted to cry, I wanted to scream, but I couldn't, it wass almost like I had lost the ability to make sound. So I ran into the darkness, trying to muster up any sort of noise to call for him. "Keifer!' My voice was scratchy, but loud enough to get around, I hoped I'd find him soon

i could hear her screaming and sobbing even though i was probly 100 miles away from her by now. i started to sob as well, i knew i was hurting her but i had to do this to insure her safety. i had to find Roy and i had to do it soon.

I ran faster in what ever direction I was going in, my sobs getting louder and anxiety taking over. I dropped to the ground and began scratching at my arms to try and get myself to stop crying so hard. I began to hyperventalate, screaming for Kiefer

I felt awful for leaving but i was in danger with Roy rules broken or still in tact, it didnt matter i had to end this now and that's what i was going to do, even if i died trying.

I slowly calmed down, anxiety slowly slipping out of my system. I stood up on my shaky legs and looked at my arms, they stung and had trails of blood dripping down my fingers but I didnt care. I needed to find Kifer. "KIEFER!" I yelled into the darkness. "KIEFER PLEASE!"
