Ironic (1x1)

I rubbed the back of my neck in frustration. I honestly didn't know what to do. I didn't want to break Kay's heart.

I fell asleep so sad. I knew this wasn't fgoing to work.

I got out of the shower and walked into the room in a towel.

I got up and began pacing around the room.

I got dressed and walked down stairs and saw him pacing. "Whats wrong?"

I stopped, startled for a moment before looking at her. "Oh, uh, nothing. Just thinking." i said and gave a small smile.

I smiled "Um... don't you have to go to work?" i asked usually hewas gone by now.

I looked at the clock and rubbed the back of my head. "Oh! Right." i said grabbing a jacket and going to her to kiss her on the cheek without thinking. "I'll see you later." i said and made my way quickly out of the house.

I chuckled and started to clean up the kitchen.

I got in my car and headed off. I sat in traffic in deep thought, it really bothered me that i had no clue what i was going to do.

I got up. I'm going to head into the office. It just seems logical, it will give me something to do.

I got to the office and headed straight to my own area. I sat down at the desk and stared at the stack of paper that had been placed there for me to file and such. I sighed. I picked up my phone to call Kay, but i ended up hanging up before it started to ring.

I got to my office and sat down, people were busy around me and it was all that I needed

I rubbed my forehead and started working on papers. I sat there for hours just staring at them like they were nothing. I picked up my phone and opened a new text message to Kay. Can we meet in a bit? I sent it and set my phone down, sighing heavily.

I felt my phone buzz. I looked at it. When and where?

The cafe I sent back and slouched in my chair.

When? I asked

An hour i sent.

Okay. I sent and finished up some of the work that I had to do.

I took in a deep breath and began working on all the papers on my desk .

I ran my hands over my face. This was going to be tough. I looked at the clock. I had 15 minutes to get to the cafe

I put all the papers in a filing cabinet and made my way through the lobby to the elevator to get outside to start heading towards the cafe.

I parked and walked and sat down at one of the tables outside. Looking around.

I saw her sitting at a table and i stopped for a second to take in a deep breath. I had to tell her it was the right thing to do. I walked into the cafe and back out to the padio to join her.

I stood up when I saw him I took a deep breath. I gave him a small smile.

I returned her smile and gave her a hug before pulling up a seat next to her.
