Dark Score House of Night(started but still open)

He looks at her "I'll find him" he promises.

"What should I do until then?"

He sighs "I don't know.. Just.. Stay safe, maybe stay with a friend until I can find him."

"Oh yeah, like there's anyone here I trust enough to stay with that has the things I need to sleep without getting burned. I still dont have friends, and my brother is busy with Hope." I shook my head.

He sighs "as long as we don't kill each other, you're welcome to my place" he suggests

"The only way that I'll kill you, is if you get any bright ideas to scare me." I said.

"fine. Get your things." he says

"Alright." I pack a few things quickly and look at him when I was done.

He takes her to his place and takes her up to the guest room "there's towels and sheets in the closet" he explains "make yourself at home"

"Thanks." I said and go inside. I set the bag done and look around.

"let me know if you need anything." he says and walks to his room down the hall.

I close the door silently. I wasn't sure about this.

He Sits at the edge of his bed thinking if this was a good idea. As long as they didn't get emotions involved they'd be fine. He just needed to keep hating her, and she needed to keep hating him.

I looked through my bag to make sure I packed stuff I needed. I was tired, I just wanted to sleep. I changed and laid down.

He got up and walked to his office in the den and got on that website Alaina showed him earlier.

I laid there feeling tired but unable to rest. I just laid there.

He sat back in his chair and looked at the pictures. It bugged him that she was in his house and that they were in separate rooms. He tried to focus on his research. He got up and poored a glass of scotch into a glass. He sat in his office thinking while drinking it.

I grabbed my bag and looked for the thing I'd snatched from my room without him seeing. I looked at the pictures.

He went to set the drink down and missed the table. The glass fell to the floor and shattered. He cussed and picked up the glass. He cussed again when the glass cut him. He throws the glass in the sink with a sigh.

I smelled the blood and I was curious about that but I didn't go downstairs.

He carefully washes his hand and grabs some cloth. He tries to bind it himself with one hand and his teeth but fails. He tosses the bloody cloth on the counter and forfeits.

I kept feeling like I should check on him and eventually that part of me overruled the other. I went downstairs and found him. "I smelled blood, you ok?"

He looks at her and nods "I'm fine. Just cut my hand." he says

"I'll get it." I grab the other cloth and bound it for him.

He looks down at her "thanks.."
