Dark Score House of Night(started but still open)

He thought for a second "what if your stalker was a member of the council?" he asks " it would make sense.."

"Yeah, it would. Maybe the address you found is where he lives." I said.

He nods "Ill be back.." he says and goes to his room to get dressed.

I sighed and leaned my head back.

He dressed in jeans and a black shirt. He throws on his leather jacket and grabs a dagger and a pistol. He walks into her room "you know how to work one of these?" he asks holding up the pistol.

"Isn't the sun still up?" I asked.

"yes it is, now do you know how to work this?" he asks

"Yeah." I said.

"good. Use it on anyone who enters this house" he lets out a smirk "besides me, of course."

I smiled. "I wouldn't dream of it, unless by accident. Try not to be too quiet when you return."

"stay safe. I have the whole house on high security so don't leave, you understand?" he asks

"I couldn't if I wanted." I said.

He smirks "good." he checks his watch "I'll be back in an hour or so.." he says

"Alright, I'll be here, or raiding your kitchen." I smiled.

He smiles "alright" he says and walks out of her room and heads downstairs.

I stay on the bed feeling a little better about the situation.

He sighs and stops on the stairway. He turns around and walks back up to her room "I have something to say.."

I look at him. "and I'm listening." I said politely.

He looks at her and couldn't talk "n..never mind.. Just be safe" he mumbles and turns to go

I didn't know what to say so I just nodded.

He walks out and to the front door, he sets the alarm and leaves.

I sit there wondering what he wanted to say. I looked at my hands feeling stupid for doing that.

An hour later he comes back. He takes off his jacket and walks up the stairs "Alaina?" he calls out.

"Yes?" I asked. I was laying down and half sleep but I heard him.

He walks in her room and sighs with relief "good. You're okay."
