Dark Score House of Night(started but still open)

"Yeah, no one came in. I was up most of the time. Only half paying attention." I said and held back a yawn.

"no one was there." he admits and sits at the edge of her bed.

"Figures. Probably saw us looking at the screen and ran." I looked up at him. I was laying on my stomach so I turned to see him better and propped my head uo on my hand.

He watches her. The things he'd do to lay with her. "I'll do anything to find him. He's not getting away with this."

"ALright. Will you stay with me? I know we're in the same house but I'd still feel a lot safer if you stayed in here." I said.

He looks at her "uh.. Sure.." he says and kicks off his shoes and lays next to her.

I layed on my back. "Sorry if it makes you uncomfortable with us not being together, but I thought you'd prefer this too. You'd have a faster reaction if he broke in the window." I said and looked at him.

He looks at the window and then at her "just try to get some sleep.." he says and gives her a small smile.

"Ok." I said and flipped onto my side again but I was facing him and started to fall asleep.

He watches her for a while until she fell asleep. Soon after he became drowsy and started to fall asleep

Sleeping

Hours pass while they sleep. He wakes up and looks around. He sits up and looks over at Alaina.

I shifted and turned over and some of my hair flipped into my face.

He smirks and pushes the hair back from her face. He quietly gets up and goes downstairs and checks the alarm and the cameras for the outside perimeter.

I barely noticed his hand, then I woke up a few minutes later after a wierd nightmare.

He stands there watching the tapes over the hours they were sleeping.

I sat up and put my face in my hands. I had a feeling that things were only getting worse.

The backyard camera went black. He curses and runs across the house to the backyard door.

I looked at the widow. The curtains were openn and they hadn't been when I fell asleep. I went up to them and looked outside.

He didn't see anything.. It was all dark. He opened the doors and stepped outside, looking around cautiously, he closed the doors behind him.

I saw Hayden outside and just watched, knowing what he was doing. I didn't realize someone was behind me.

He looks up and sees her in the window, he didn't notice anything wrong. He looks back to the yard and closes his eyes, listening carefully.

When he looked at me I smiled a small smile, then when he looked away a guy put his hand over my mouth and pulled me away.

He sighs and walks back inside, locking the door. He walks up the stairs, heading to her room "I didn't see anyone.." he says

I heard him but couldn't say anything. He wasn't covering my mouth but, he was threatening to slit my throat.
