Dark Score House of Night(started but still open)

"No problem." I said. I didn't let go of his hand for a minute, but I let it go without looking at him. I knew if I did what would happen like the first time.

He clenched his jaw and took a single step back. His fangs started to ache as her scent surrounded him. He turned away from her and collected himself.

I didn't say anything to him. I just looked down at the floor.

He turned to her "come with me, I may have found something." he says and takes her to his office. He sits her down in his chair and hovers over her "I may have found the source to the website" he explains

"Ok." I looked at the screen.

He pulls up some info " the latest visit to the site from the source was today, at this address" he points out. "but look at this.." he pulled up images of them from that night In her office. "I .. I mean, how the hell did he get these shots? Was he watching us the whole time?"

"Most likely. He usually finds places to hide."

"it bugs me that you take this so lightly." he says

"Well I've done this 10 times already. I know what's going to happen, things haven't changed. I don't like the situation but I'm past scared and upset about the situation." I said.

"so, what, you just accept that it's happening and move on with you life?!"

"Yeah, kinda." I said and got up and began leaving the room.

"where are you going?!" he yells

"To my room!" I yelled back. I wasn't going to stand here with him letting him glare at me.

"oh That's just great Alaina! Run to your room so you can run away from this problem and not deal with it, YET AGAIN!"

I turned around. "No the problem is the situation I'm in. I'm not going to sit here and let you yell at me and give me glares that I did nothing for! You're the one who blew me off, if anyone should be angry, it should be me!" I turned around again and walked away faster.

He followed her "the only reason I blew you off was because I didn't want things to get serious with us! " he yelled "I hadn't been out of my previous relationship for more than an hour before I fell for you! I figured you were just a rebound, so I bailed!" he continues "and them you disappeared, and I looked for you! Every god damn day I looked for you! I swam in that ocean everyday for a month hoping that you would show up! I blew off work and went into town and questioned people and posted flyers! And this whole bloody time you were living it up as a high priestess while I thought you were dead! You didn't even have the decency to tell me! You looked me in the eyes and walked right past me!" he yells

I didn't say a word to him, I just went into the room he gave me and slammed the door in his face. I locked it and slid down the door in tears. I couldn't stand to hear this, I just thought he wasn't interested.

He goes back downstairs and poored himself a big glass of scotch, walk outside on his back porch and sits on his steps, taking in the cool night air.

I couldn't understand why this happened. If he thought I had died, I wish I had.

He tries to calm down and relax but she drove him mad. How dare she think that way?! He thought.

I could feel the sun rise and saw the open window that was open. The sunlight was inside the room. I stayed by the door then started to reach for it like an idiot and started to burn.

He sighs and walks inside after he finishes his scotch.

I pulled my hand back but I put the other one on in the light.

He walks up the stairs glaring at her room.

I let it burn really good because I wanted to feel something of physical pain. I was tired of the heart break. I was irritated with him, he made me this way. I wasn;t about to take it. Doing this made it look like I was trying to clothes the curtains. I got on the bed and actually started reaching for it.
