In the Aftermath [Closed]

By now just wanted this nightmare to end. There was a dull throbbing pain at the base of my skull that seemed to pull me back. Like it didn't want me to wake up. Every now and then a mental whisper would brush against my consciousness, though I could never understand if there were any words spoken.

Sky just looked at the charade in utter disbelieve shaking her head slowly....and snorted"ok...u know you suck at acting innocent....chikita...don't tell me chick go for that nower days." She teased while swimming closer to him. She did not quite know what to make of that dude but she'd know soon enough. .
"So Zhane is it? ...Skylar....'' I smiled. Let's see what you are really made of.

I felt like I needed to shake him awake, but he needed to go through whatever dream he was having. When he wakes up I'll tell him not to fall into unconsiousness next time.. I mentally told myself.
"Ethem? Bro, remember you'll always wake up." I reminded him even if he couldn't hear me. He had to wake up, I knew he would. I never slept forever. He just has to fight against whatever it is he's facing...

I winced as each whisper seemed to stab at my consciousness. It was kind of like having a cat hissing in your ear at different intervals, each time the noise gets worse. There were a couple times I could decipher some words but the message wasn't very clear. My eyes began to sting as a sudden rushing sound filled my ears. What made the nightmare creepier was that I could feel the tears running down my face.

Marat was grateful Feisha gave him the extra food. He managed to eat all of it and was now full as a boat. He took a deep breath and was ready to collapse on his bed for an hour or two. Sleeping after food was a positive thing for him, he always gets his batteries full. Marat turned to Feisha "I'll go take a nap. I'm so full i think I'll blow" he laughed a bit "you, want to go with me?" he semi held his breath hoping for a positive answer. They will have to live together soon so he would like to practice how it would look like. But if she doesn't want to, it is ok with him too. He understands her urge for freedom, and he highly respects that. But he is still hoping for a yes.

Zhane looked at the girl sharply. "What, I had to get rid of him somehow. And believe me, chicks fall for everything nowadays." He scoffed a bit as he swam to her. They were pretty close now, but he still held his distance in case she slips her hand, by accident of course. "Nice to meet you Skylar." he held his smile for a moment, withdrawing to make a sarcastic comment about her name, which would get him definitively punched and maybe even knocked out for a few minutes. "So, guess you are not Hybris cousin." Zhane's mind was racing now. All the kinky things he imagined right now would not be proper to speak out loud, but somehow he shoved them in the back of his mind and focused on the girl. She was different, but he didn't know why. All he knew was that he feels awkward making a hit or even joke about this girl. Strange.

She laughed at him. He was right, he could explode. "That would be nice" i said smiling. She ignored the tought of how weard it was to go back to bed when there was so many things to do. Taking his hand she got up and walked towards his cabin.

She swam a tad closer to have a better look at the guy. Sky could feel him being cautious and that smile didn't quite reach his eyes. "Hmm...no....am not....I am a family friend..keeping an eye on his cousin...and maybe a little more" she winked at him with a mischievous flirty smile around her lips.
She dared to move in closer only a few inch apart "so how about you...Zhane....what are you thinking?" She rose her hand and to indicate a finger to his forhead "cause that mind of yours seems extremely busy screaming at you"
She lingered a few seconds before withdrawing again float on her back.

Hybris started to fret. "Ethem, You can do this. Fight back." He still had the urge to nudge the kid, or even shake him awake, but he knew it wouldn't work and it would be a waste of energy.

This was getting ridiculous. Why couldn't I wake up? Normally my dreams never lasted this long. I would see stuff, feel pain and eventually I'd regain consciousness. But not now. Just my luck I end up with the never ending dream.

Marat was happy that Feisha accepted his invite. The walk to the cabin couldn't be shorter, but holding her hand felt like a lifetime. He opened the door for her as a true gentleman would do and for the first time ever, he was shocked. Someone cleaned his cabin. No he will never find his stuff. But on the other hand, he had company, and it would be rude to bring Feisha to a mess. "My lady" he slightly bowed his head with a smile as he motioned her to come inside.

Zhane woke up from his imaginary sex dreams. "I'm sorry, what? Oh, erm, it's kind of embarrassing. Well, nothing actually." he tried to be nonchalant but his mind was getting all perv on him all of a sudden. Shut the f*ck up brain! he looked down, not up, and hoped his 'brain' would calm down before he kicks himself in the zone for being so immature.

She was surprised when she entered him cabin, she wasnt expecting it to be this clean. Smiling she went inside, it was definately different than her cabin she tought as she looked around.

Where was Skylar when you needed her? Hybris thought as he tried his best not to interfeer with his 'cousin'.
He noticed Ethem had a tear trickle down his cheek. What was happening inside him?
If only Hybris had warned him about falling into unconsiousness, this would never have happened.
Hybris looked around him again to see if Sky was around. Nothing. "Skylar, where are you?"

"Embarrassing you say?" She looked at him "well NOW you make me curious." she turned around and swam back..around him..like a cat circling its prey.
"hmm...I can see that girls go for you easily...but that easy...tsk tsk tsk..." she grinned and closed in. She looked into his eyes...the way she judges people...her head only an inch away from his. 'hmmm" then she grinned and dived under away from him, surfacing a few meters away.

Marat held his breath while watching her enter the cabin. He really did have a nice cabin, with a lot of religion symbols, specially Indian, but it wasn't too much. Everything was on it's place. The only thing that was different was a red bandanna on the top shelve. It belonged to his father, the second in command of the current alpha. He died for the alpha in the battle with Nocturnals, leaving Marat and his mother alone. He closed the door and looked at Feisha with a soft smile. "You want something to drink?"

Zhane sighed "well your curiosity is not my problem" he swam closer to her "and what does 'that' easy means exactly?" he tilted his head with a curious look. This girl has the nerves, guess he finally met him match, in another sex of course.

"Hm...dunno..lemme see umm....You certainly got the looks...not necessarily my type no offense ..maybe you even got the charm....ah ah ah...don't even try that on me" She warned him indicating at him grinning.
more serious she said "and easy as in easy to get into their pants...easy as in cheap...easy as in...no challenge..gush...don't you get bored?" she frowned.

The overwhelming feeling of darkness loomed in my consciousness, threatening to knock me out. If I didn't wake up soon, who knows what would happen. The electricity had faded into a dull buzzing pain but that didn't make much of a difference. Pain was pain. It only stopped when it wanted to. I struggled to open my eyes but they felt like someone had glued them shut. "St-stop..." I stuttered, my teeth gritting together.

Feisha turned to stare at him after staring at everything he owned. "Umm, no im fine, thank you tough" she said giving him a smile. "Besides, didnt you say you were getting sleepy?" She smiled as she took of her boots and layed down in Marats bed.

Marat took off his shoes and practically jumped on the bed near Feisha. He laughed at the bouncing bed like he is 10 years old again. When the bed finally went silent he looked at his love in the eyes. "Yea, I did." He hugged her lightly as he lay down. "But, if you want to do something else we could" he laughed a bit and waited for Feisha to hit him. She knows he is joking, but that will probably not stop her from doing it.

Zhane lay on his back, the water gently caressing his body. "Yea, I do get bored. And no, I don't ALWAYS have sex with them. Some are just stupid enough to willingly give themselves to me, which is, like you said, boring as hell." He turned to face her and waited for her response. She might be in shock from his honest response, but something inside him said that he can't lie, and that was the truth usually only Feisha or Marat knows.

She laughed and playfully hit him. "I suppose we could, but id rather not, not right now atleast" i said truthfully. She didnt want to do that one thing that everyone does, the pack think shes done it atleast with a few guys, but she never has, she would rather wait for that one person that will always be with her, and that person managed to be Marat. She smiled at him taking her hand into his. "I'd rather wait till were married" she said looking down at them.

Sky just chuckled. "geez ...at least some have selfesteem...thae only other thing I would have guesses would be ur position in the tribe...."she swam closer "so which is it?" She grinned at him while gazing into his eyes.

Marat kissed her hand and looked her in the eyes. "Of course." he smiled softly as he pulled her closer to his arms. "We will have all the time in the world for anything we want." He kissed Feisha gently on her forehead while he held her.

Zhane swam closer to her. This girl is catching up quickly, and she is damn smart, and kind of sexy his brain was telling him to shut up but his 'brain' was telling him another story. Shut up both of you! he closed his eyes and took a deep breath trying to calm down. "Maybe a little bit of both" he swam close enough but still kept his distance, he could feel her body in the water, so he went back a little. Not wanting to get closer.

You must have a quite high position then...and" ...she looked at him sharp then "taking andvanage of it!" Getting even closer to him narrowing her eyes she whispered "which is pretty low on your part I must say"

She smiled to herself. "You know, ive never have done it noyone, regardless of what the pack has been talking" i said looking at him. "I would rather wait for you because... i love you"

Hybris looked back to the boy. He could see Ethem's eyes moving around like he was watching something really fast under his eye lids.
'Bris would have to call out for her soon. But what about Zhane?
This was too risky. "Skylar.." He said getting impatient. "He needs to wake up, this is taking too long.."
Feeling a bit like he had scissors for hands, Hybris still didn't want to touch the boy incase something happened. But he couldn't hold his urge for much longer. He had to interfeer...
He needed Sky here, she'd know what to do, hopefully.
"Skylar?" He called a tad bit louder but not too loud so Zhane could hear.

Zhane chuckled a bit. "It might be low, but at least I'm satisfied. For a while..." his thoughts trailed off with the last word. He was unhappy, even with all the girls around him he always wanted more. "Well, this water is gonna melt my skin soon, so I better go back." he started to swim back to shore but he swam slowly, so she could catch up.

"To be perfectly honest." Marat took a deep breath and kind of looked embarrassed as he spoke slightly whispering "I've never done it too." he smiled a bit looking at his love. "So don't worry." he kissed her gently on the forehead. "And despite all the bickering that the mutts usually talk outside, everything you heard about me was probably wrong" he looked outside his cabin, well, was actually talking to the wall, and remembered all the old ladies that talk bad about every good person in the pack.
