The Calm

Like a flickering flame we burn so intensely.
Will we burn ourselves if we burn too hot?

Like the first cold plunge we sink more and more.
Deeper into our own world that we alone know about.
But only to surface too soon.

Like the wind we are swept away with its gusts.
But we have no time to notice since we are caught up with each other.

Like the storm we are wild and unpredictable.
But like the calm after the storm we too become tame and whisper sweet nothings.

Its bittersweet.
The ride we are on together.

Body Melody

Your fingers tap the keys and music flows to my ears.
It's a sweet melody that connects our lips and finger tips.
Hearts beating in time when our chests press together.
Then we become one as we slip under the covers.
Our passion grows as the world slips away.
Let it stay night so we never have to become two again.
Because I don't feel alone when we are one.

Moon Drums

Our hearts beat like twin drums.

Born of the same constant drumline.

I put my hand on your chest and you do the same.

We kiss passionately to the beats before we stop for air.

We look into each others eyes seeing lustful desires.

Then before we close our eyes we say our farewells to the bright full moon.

My heart is on ice.
Being saved for a rainy day.
When someone good enough comes along.

Until that rainy day,
