Summer Heartbreak (open)

it wasn't till 1 am that derek decided to go home. he got in and saw her asleep on the couch he picked her up and took her to her room he laid her down on the bed and took off her shoes before covering her

Kylie stirred in her sleep and sighed his name softly as she curled into her bed.

he looked at her and smiled he leaned down and kissed her forehead before going to bed

Kylie woke up the next morning and sighed she layed in bed hugging her pillow as she chewed her lip.

derek hadn't slept all night he was in bed tired like never but couldn't get himself to sleep

Kylie sighed and got up,she walked out and got herself some breakfast.

he heard some noise in the kitchen an figured she was up so i went to the kitchen hoping she wouldn't notice the blackness under my eyes

Kylie wasn't eating much when Derek came into the kitchen she frowned,"D are you okay?"

he smiled and too a box of juice "yeah i am.are you?"

Kylie frowned ignoring his question she said,"You look tired.. how much sleep did you get last night?"

he looked at her nd decided to be honest " none"

Kylie frowned deeply,"Why not?"

derek shrugged and drank form his juice

Kylie sighed then took his juice from him,"I have to talk to you,"she said,"but after you sleeep."

"i can't sleep so talk to me now"

Kylie sighed,"Fine what was all that about yesturday?"she asked,"you showed up at the zoo then without a word you just left like what the he11?"

"i showed up because i missed you than i saw ben with you and got furious i couldn't take it so i left"

"But why?"Kylie gave a humorless laugh,"Ben is just a friend Derek! He offered to help me with the kids at the zoo so I said yes.."

derek shrugged and didn't answer

Kylie frowned,"Fine when you want to talk like an adult come find me.. but remember this Derek.You're my boyfriend and no matter how many guys I hang out with or seem close to you will always have my heart not them,"she turned and walked out.

he sighed and followed her "i'm jealous thats all and don't blame me i mean you were naked with him 2 night ago "

"I was in my underwear for gods sake !"Kylie cried,"many people do that at parties Derek... "

"yeah sure" he mumbled "i was there too and i didn't do that with anyone plus i don't like the guy!"

Kylie sighed and ran a hand through her hair before saying,"Well I'm sorry you don't like him Derek but I'm not ending my friendship or going to stop hanging out with him because of that. So you will have to deal with it.."she walked towards her room,"there are worse people I could hang out with baby."
