Michelle: I listen to her coming up the steps and go into her room, I wait a while. Our parents were on a business trip so oinly she would be bugged by this. I stand up and walk to stand infront of her closed door. I start to play the music that we learned today and I play it as loud as possible.

Brian: I lay down and think through the parts, the football game tomorrow would be a blast, it would be fun to have Allison sitting next to me playing cymbols in the stands. And of course, annoying the cheerleaders. It would be so much fun to see their faces.

Allison: I was excited for tomorrow, it hadn't been the first game but neither the less, I hadn't payed attention to the cheerleaders. We were told that when the cheerleaders looked like they were going to start a cheer, we were to start playing a stand tune.

I jump awake and start heading towards the door, "Michelle! I swear to god you better shut up!" I open my door and glare at her, "I'm tired. Shut up!"

I drive to Allison's house and park before knocking on the door

I laugh at her face adn continue playing, even louder and then purposefully meek the clarinet play a high pitched, glass shattering note. And then smile at Taylor, "No. I'm good." And I continue to play.

I walk down stairs to get a glass of water.

I hear the knock and walk downstairs, I open the door. "Ty." I say coldly.

I rip the clarinet from her and throw it behind me, "Shut up. Oh and that comment at the restaurant was unnecessary"

"It may have been unnecassary, but its true." I smile at her. "Now pick my clarinet up and I'll stop." I tell her. "And if you broke it, you can pay for the repairs."

"What do you mean?" I ask him trying to take the edge off my voice.

I look out the front window and see Ty, I didn't know what to think but I walked up to my room and cracked the window. I didn't want Allison turning into a cheerleader again.

I roll my eyes, "I didn't break it" I hand it to her, "And just so you know I never cheated on Ty"

"You know what I'm talking about Allie. We used to be close..."

Michelle: I play a quick scale to make sure everything is okay and then I look at her, "You're lucky." And then I have a comeback, "Wow, this must be the firts guy you haven't cheated on."

"That's when I was a cheerleader." I say and close the door behind me, I walk out and stand in front of him.

I glare, "Seriously shut up. None of the others meant anything to me. I'm hoping this one will last even after he graduates" I smirk, "You know I could help you get some guys...Just rip a few of your shirts...cut your skirts shorter..."

"Why does it have to be any different than when you were one? I miss you"

"I don't need a guy to be happy," I tell her. "I have all I need right here." I gesture to my clarinet. "Happiness is not found in guys, happiness is something you love. And I love marching band, its my happiness"

"If I were seen with you, the marching band would go crazy," I say. I look down, "They got me to stop talking to you because they thought I would turn back into a cheerleader."

"Me? Have a crush on a Freshman," I say trying to blow her off. "Sike." I smile. "You look at all guys the way you look at Ty, have you seen the way he looks at Allison?" I ppause. "Obviously not"

"I love marching band," I tell him. Leaving out that I missed Cheerleading. He didn't need to know. I kept looking down at his feet.

What was she saying?! I knew she loved marching band and missed cheerleading, but she didn't need to be talking to him all sweet and innocent.

I stare at her, "What way does he look at her? Tell me! I don't look at any other guy than Ty!"

I lift up her chin, "You miss cheering though"

michelle: "Why should I tell you anything?" I smile.

"I do," I say looking into his eyes. "But I can't handle the tension when I'm around..." Ibite my bottom lip, "And I love marching band. I was planning on cheering during the winter," I tell him. "Because then the Marching band is off season." I say.

"Michelle...please?"

I hug her, "Thank god! The squad needs you"

"What have you ever done nice for me?" I ask her

I have to work hard to stay put by the window, how could she?

I smile and hug him back, "I never thought I'd hear you say that! With Taylor and all" I start to sound a bit mad at the end. "My anger towards cheerleaders in public is just a stage show." I remind him.

"Sorta figured...well don't worry about Taylor...she won't be here long"

"Lets just say I've put good input to you to a few of your ex's"

I roll my eyes, "He looks at Allison the way brian looks at her." I say.

"What do you mean?" I ask him.

"He loves her doesn't he" I say looking at the ground

"You've seen the way I look at you...I've had a crush on you since last year"

"I'm afraid so sis." I say to her.

No, no no no no no no no, this couldn't be happening. Not again, Not with a cheerleader.

"I know," I tell him with a smile. I bit my bottom lip.

"Whatever." I walk inside my room and slam my door. I lay down on my bed and start crying

"I want you. Not fake Taylor or another other girl but you"

Even though I hated my sister, I felt bad, I walked back to my room and put the clarinet away. I sit there and think, she was right. I did like Brian, but I couldn't think about boys with marching band.

I smile and think through tonights events. What had happened with Brian, what was happening now with Ty, I didn't know what to think. Brian didn't like the cheerleading side of me, but it seemed that Ty liked both sides of me. I didn't know.

Oh. My. Gosh. I stand up and walk outside, I had a crush on allison, and she knew it, everyone did. I closed the door rather loudly in hope that he would hear.

I smile, "Just talk to me tomorrow with your answer...I'll be waiting" I head back to my car

I look through my phone and start rereading our text messages wondering where I went wrong
