"That is correct my dear Desire" I chuckle and kiss her cheek

I smiled. "I just know you're going to be faithful until the end."

"Always will be"

"I know." Then I thought of something. "If something happened to me and the triplets, and it came down to me or them, what would you choose?" I asked randomly.

"You in a heartbeat"

"Why? If I were making the choice, I'd choose the babies." I said.

"Because you are the love of my demon life"

I smiled then frowned at how I had to answer. "Yeah, but I would hate you for that. You're not giving your kids a chance to live, just because you want to be happy. I'd probably die if that happened."

"You'd rather have me pick the children over you?"

"Yes. I would." I said.

"Why?"

"Because, I'm 400 years old, they're not even a month old. They deserve that chance to live. I mean, that's the point of having kids." I said.

"But I want you to be by my side"

"Well, I want to be too, but if it comes to it no." I said.

"Lets not talk about it if it comes to it than we'll talk about it"

"Well love how are you?"

"I'm fine. Nothing to worry about yet."

"Yet, as in we don't know if tomorrow something will be wrong or somewhere in the future." I said and I laid my head in his lap.

I smile and play with her hair, "The future is unknown"

"Exactly." I said.
