Live, Die, what's next? (1x1 open)

I kept my back to the entrance. I felt bad about hurting him, I was supposed to keep him from getting hurt. I couldn't do something as simple as protect him. It tore me up but I refused to cry, as I fought the tears a sort of cold detachment fell over me. I didn't really feel the anger at myself, but I still would rather be alone.

I went through the bags until I found a blanket that I used to curl up. The day weighed so heavily on me now that I could no longer stay awake. I was asleep once I was laying down.

I lay undisturbed with my back to the entrance as it had been before.

After a few hours I woke up and lay staring at a wall for awhile.. I eventually got up and ran to the house and found one thing of clothes that had been missed in packing. I put on the under part but then just slipped back into his shirt and carried the rest back to the cave where I sat quietly.

I played with the hem of the shirt. I deliberately pretended I didn't feel his gaze.

I stopped with it and became very still. My expression was locked as I stared down at the ground.

I wasn't listening, I kept staring at the ground completely frozen. I knew I could move if I wanted, but I didn't. Then I sighed as the cave suddenly felt like an oven, well for me it did.

I began sweating and took off the blanket. I laid it out and lay on it hoping to feel better.

I closed my eyes as alpha came in. He almost didn't do anything, but seeing me sweating he got down to make sure I was ok. I didn't say anything, getting the feeling it wouldn't be fair to react to everyone but Shawn.

Alpha kept asking questions but one big problem was I didn't know how to answer him so I didn't. All I knew was it was hot. He sighed when I wouldn't do anything.

I laid there quietly as they watched me. I knew they wanted to help, but with what none of us knew.

I laid there quietly.

Despite how I felt I got up and went walking, taking the blanket with me. I went quietly and very slowly.
