The Replacement Girlfriend (Open)

"Eh, if you ever come to my place I will show you something," I replied. I opened the passenger door for her before I got in the drivers seat.

"And what's that?" She asked.

"Its a secret."

She laughed slightly,"Alright shown me this... secret. "

"Alright," I said and we went to my place. I led her around the back yard to this large greenhouse. I took her inside. "I have a garden. A two story greenhouse. Right now you're looking at all my fruits, vegetables, and herbs," I said.

Effy smiled , impressed she started to slowly walk around looking at all of them.

I watched her quietly. Upstairs was a bit more embarrassing but my pride was in there. I saw her start towards the stairs and went to stop her. "Sorry, im still working. I've got things going on but they're not ready for outside attention yet. But maybe I will finally be able to show them off," I said. I used them as gifts sometimes but not usually. "Oh, and while on subject when is your birthday?"

"A couple weeks from now,"Effy said then smirked,"I don't suspect we will be 'together' that long."

I shrugged, "I don't want thus to go on long."

"Well then how about we just work instead of all this...side stuff,"Effy said.

I shrugged, "alright. What do you suggest for now?"

"Just put on act whenever we see her. No side stuff,"Effy explained.

"We have to make it real so at school, and I still need you to be seen with me occasionally outside of school. My friends all have this date night thing once or twice a month where we go out with a girl, though im the only one who usually has a girlfriend to bring."

(My posting is slow because we're out today, but one more stop and we're good.)

Effy nodded,"Alright sounds ..fun."

(Its okay)

"Alright so you want to leave or do you want an extended tour."

"I should get going , my younger brother get's home soon,"She said softly.

"Alright, I will take you home then," I said and we got back in my car. "Could you out the address in my navigation?"

Effy typed it in before buckling up.

I buckled in before leaving out. I followed the instructions until I got there. I parked in the driveway.

"Thanks ,"She said before getting out just in time to see a five year old, with brown hair and green eyes race across the lawn to embrace her. Effy smiled and hugged her little brother,kissing the top of his head,"Come on Champ I bought ice cream last night."

I smiled softly before I left. Lillian didn't have any family besides her parents. I had an older brother but he never talks to me and usually only comes on holidays.

Effy took care of her brother, as her father works most of the time now after the death of her mother.

I got home and made myself dinner. My parents were out wherever and I was left alone again. I ate and did my work outs and homework before going to bed.

Effy made sure the house was cleaned and her brother,Jace was tucked into bed before doing homework. The next morning she dropped him off at school before going herself,yawning.

In the morning I did my routine before going to school. Another day of school.
