"Too true." I sighed.

I sighed and leaned back.

I sat there quietly.

Clair came back. "Alright so the council is mad about your friends and all, but that just means we have to retaliate with the interview. So they contacted the same reporter and she's only available for today, in two hours," she said.

"Well what are we waiting for?"

Both of them drag me to my room. Clair already had an outfit laid out and pushed me and the outfit into my closet. I dressed quickly and when I was out she pushed me to the vanity where she did all kinds of makeup work and pulled at my hair until it was perfectly swept to the right.

I watch Clair do her magic. She looked good after she was done.

I smiled at her. "I love it," I said after staring at my reflection for a moment. "Now let's go," she said and we hurried down to the car.

I followed quietly.

We made it to the limo and I leaned back into the seat.

I leaned back as well.

I looked out the window quietly as we rode in silence. Too much was happening too fast. I could handle it but I couldn't understand it all.

I looked at her.

When we stopped I was led through the halls quietly of the reporters building. When we reached the right room some makeup artists came to make sure my makeup was good for the lighting and would melt.

I watched her.

I looked at him while they were still fussing with me.

"Youll do fine." I said.

I nod before someone ushers me to go on stage. Cameras were rolling so I just smiled and waved like I saw them do. Then I sat in a chair opposite of the reporter. "Hello ma'am. My name is Kamie Ryan, what's yours?" She asked. "Black Star Jones, and Black Star is my full first name," I said. "That's unique, even for angels."

"Well I don't really know my parents well so I never got to ask," I told her.

"That's also unusual. So if you're an angel, how come we've just heard of you?" She asked skeptically.

"My parents sent me off to another location where I got more in depth in education. I wasn't even reported to the council so they didn't know much."

"Oh, could you prove it? All angels have really pretty marks on their shoulder blades and they're distinctive," she said.

I nod and stood so I could show the camera my back, which was shown by a whole that was made in the shirt. My marks showed proudly and a silence fell on set as I sat down again.

When she regained herself she continued asking questions.

I smiled. Listening to her. Seeing her mark was beutiful.

Finally near the end she began to ask about my old friends. "Now, I need to know about these humans who swear to have associated with you, one in particular says he was your boyfriend. What do you say on this?"

I sighed, "I may have spoken to them on occasion but I have no relation to any of these people. I do not know why they chose to target me in such a way. Especially at such a moment when my status was yet unknown. The only friend I have is Nathan, I have never dated anyone because my future matters most of all to me and no one will get in the way," I said.

She then concluded the interview and I got to go back stage. Once away from the cameras I sighed softly.

When she got back here i hugged her. "See you did great." I said.

I hugged him back and smiled at him. "You don't think I caused us trouble by saying you're my friend?" I asked. "Trust me, it will be examined anyway they choose, but it doesn't have to be truth if you do not wish to believe," Clair said.

"Nah its fine." I said.

"Alright," I said and at that moment didn't realize that Nathan anr I were still holding each other.

I noticed and pulled away. "Sorry." I said.
