Angel City (1x1 open)

I watched it and smiled.

"I hate feeling good about hurting someone even if they hurt me in some way," I said.

"I know. I know."

"But I still feel that way."

"Its gonna happen."

"I know."

I sat there quietly.

I leaned back.

At that point we hadnt seen clair all morning.

"I wonder if she's OK," I said.

Clair: I was in my room talking to my husband about what's happening.

"me too."

"She works hard," I said.

"Yea she does."

I looked up as I saw her come in. "Sorry, my husband called and he's very excited to meet you. He and I have always wanted a child but we've never been blessed with one," she said. I smiled, "I'm glad that my presence is pleasing to you both."

"Thats a good thing." I said.

"We like to think of it as our opportunity to be something we never could have been," she smiled brightly. "I am very glad to make you so happy."

I smiled softly.

I smiled at her as she goes off to do something in another room, with a small skip in her step.

I smiled and chuckled.

"Well at least she is happy."

"That is true."

I sighed I laid on the couch and across his lap. "You're pretty comfortable to lay on," I smiled.

"Is that so?"

I nodded, "yep."

I smiled. "Alright. if you say so."
