Rephaim and Stevie Rae? OMG!

i just love them together. they both have their dark sides but now they're fighting against it. they can help each other. it's amazing.

I just finfished burned and I loved it!! OMG Stevie Rae And rephaim!!!! I hope they stay 2gether and every1 accepts Rephaim as he is. Once i got to know him thru Stevie Rae i really liked him So i think he shuld be changed into a human so stevie Rae and him can be togeter 4ever!!!

Interesting! That's the word.
I think that the people will freak out and will no longer believe in the SR.
Will be like in Chosen.
Then only the Aphrodite and in this case the Kramisha will could understand and help her.
Not to mention that everyone already wants to kill him.

This is the most interesting part of the book
I would like to be the two of them together in eighth book

it's definately the most interesting and the most complicated part of the book. i know it's going to be hard for everyone but i really hope they can understand.

I think it's a good sign when people who don't like the series or thought Burned was a crap book, say that the Stevie Rae and Rephaim sections were the only redeeming features of the book

i haven't heard anyone say they hated the series or burned. do you agree with them?

I think Rephaim will realise that his father can not give him what he wants or needs.

Rephaim is half human (humanity) and half raven (evil). And Nyx can mark/change people who choose to follow her and choose the right path, ya? if not, my other theory is that Rephaim imprinted with Stevie Rae so that he could sense when she is in danger. and when kalona, neferet, dark red fledglings, or newly introduced evil tries to kill her, Rephaim will swoop in (figuratively or not?..we'll find out!) and save Stevie Rae, most likely sacrificing his own life to do so. So..those are my theories...either he saves Stevie Rae and changes into a man/immortal/who knows? or he saves Stevie Rae and dies...../cry lol...going for theory #1

It would make tottal sense if Rephaim chose light/good and lost his feathers etc ( his bird physicallities.) Why would they bring up the indian kid if cast had no intention of changing rephaim in anyway? when stevie ray and rephaim were looking into the fountain with the water and rephaim saw his reflection of the indian kid or w/e, that was him if he choose to be good and fallow the path of nyx with stevie ray. And remember the vision aphrodite had where Kalona was begging rephaim not to betray him and dont do this to him etc while the indian kid stood infront of stevie ray and rephaim? and rephaim fighting the indian kid? i think it's rephaims inner struggle to choose good or evil, and thats what he could become if he chooses good.

i hope that it won't all come true. but i also hope that he chooses to not go with his father.

I actually can't choose between what I want to happen to Rephaim.
I don't want him to lose his feathers/beak/wings because those are what made him so different from Stevie Rae (at the same time, what made him so similar). Those traits were very... well, they stood out to me.
Buuuut I don't want him to keep 'em either because I wanna see that super significant change in him, like in Aphrodite's vision! Was that all metaphorical or what? Usually her visions are down and literal all the time, right?
No matter what, though, all I want is Rephaim and Stevie Rae to be together. When I started reading what Stevie Rae and Dallas were about to do... together..(eech), I could feel so much sadness for Rephaim I started crying! O_O I really think they should belong together no matter the circumstances, whether or not her friends find out, whether or not they treat her like the Dark Dallas did. They're my all-time favorite couple. I hope they stay together.

i like rephaim but he does not know what he wants -.- first he says stevie rae belongs to him then he is his fathers son again and then stevie rae is his again and they act like lovers ... then he flys away cause his father is back ... this guy should make a decision!!! for stevie rae and light!!!!

So Aphrodite's vision of Raven Mocker Rephaim fighting "hot Indian" Rephaim was metaphorical right? Does it mean that if Rephaim embraces his humanity, he'll loses his beak and feathers and revert entirely to his "hot Indian" form? And for authors that live in a state with a high Native American population, I was a bit annoyed about "Indian". When I first read it, before we realized the "hot Indian w/ the feather in his braid" was Rephaim, I thought "so when does Stevie Rae go to Bombay?"

OK not that big it was kind of expected but i hope they make some more in the relationship. It would be cool if he turned human and became her consort.

he's already her consort, but you're right, it would be great if he'll be human AND her consort

Well see the thing is Stevie Rae called Rephaim's humanity Native american, where as Aphrodite wouldn't really care about political correctness, i think it was just supposed to be a show of character. Aphrodite would be like, "You're an Indian guy," where as Stevie Rae or Damian would go "Native American or Cherokee," and Aphrodite would reply "Whatever, I don't care," I mean, that's the why Aphrodite works, she might not be right, but she will be honest.

On another note, i too think that Rephaim should realise QUICK SMART that Stevie Rae is the one he needs in his life. Rephaim had never had his injuries tended to, known laughter or joy, compassion or kindness until Stevie Rae came along, and considering how old Rephaim is (at least a couple of centuries) that's pretty bad.

I agree. I think that he needs her in his life. She's shown him more love and compassion than anyone else ever had.
