yeah, now that i realised the red tattoos are looking like flowers or such, i think it could be Rephaim, but i cannot understand why he has wings... the feathers in the hair could be a hint to Rephaim, too (but i wouldn't say it's definitely him cause of those feathers). and i guess it could be Kalona cause i didn't expect Rephaim to change so fast.

@AmrodAegnor = When Stevie Rae accompanied Aphrodite back to the House of Night in Untamed, Stevie Rae could have easily just stayed in Zoey and her old room. Or even Aphrodite's place where she was staying before. Aphrodite said it would be easier if they only had to deal with Stevie Rae, to which Stevie Rae replied that Aphrodite wasn't the one who got to decide who should be saved and who shouldn't be. Neferet can't read Aphrodite's, Zoey's or Stevie Rae's mind. It would have actually made sense for Stevie Rae to come to Zoey's room and then have Zoey bring Shekinah to her room and explain everything that happened. Maybe that's just me though.

You're right, she could have hidden there. Didn't think about that. And I also meant she couldn't have gone back and resumed her old life, being with everyone like she was before. But you're right, hiding would have been an alternative.

Stevie Rae will never be able to resume her old life the way it once was, she's changed, she's not the same person, which isn't a bad thing, and also something her friends haven't accepted yet. I mean i know Zoey says that Stevie Rae is different then she was before and that she's cool with it, but clearly she isn't. Zoey also doesn't seem to grasp exactly what kind of pressure and responsibility Stevie Rae has to deal with either. Stevie Rae taking care of her Fledglings comes first, they will literally die without her.

Though apart from Stark, Zoey should really be closest to understanding it at least a little. I mean, it's not like she has never been Tempted. *cough*

I'm talking about her connection with Kalona and how she was tempted to give in to him and all. It doesn't have to be Darkness itself here, dark thoughts like despair/revenge or in Zoey's case lust, with evil results are more than enough to make people understand the temptation of Darkness. The only difference really is that in Stevie Rae's and the fledglings case it's something they didn't want, an external influence that lurks inside them, while stuff like Revenge and Despair are just something that you have inflicted on yourself (mentally).

Still, Zoey has no right to act as a goody-two-shoes here. She didn't really do anything evil, but she HAS thought about giving in to it.

@AmrodAegor = I absolutely agree with you. Kalona said that one of the breeding grounds for Darkness was selfishness, and Zoey is pretty self absorbed. Zoey is no saint and and is no position to judge Stevie Rae, though it's pretty obvious to me that she's going to anyway

I agree with ya, Bella. What really nerves me, was the line in one summary which said "The Raven Mocker refuses to be used against Stevie Rae, but what choice does he have when no one in the entire world, including Zoey, would be okay with their relationship?" - does that mean that Zoey has to allow the relationship or what?? She is really no saint, she should not act like she is one!

By the sounds of it, Zoey says no. But also that Kalona says no too. I mean i don't think that he would want them to form an actual solid bond of friendship or be lovers, but i would see him attempting to coax information out of Rephaim via his Imprint with her.

I had the same thught, but maybe he was doing it to protect Rephaim. If Niferet has power over like I think she does would he really wont her to have control over his son? But maybe I'm having wishful thinking.

Good question, he definitely would want to protect his son, but with Neferet controlling him, can he actually decide that?

Also, it won't really matter for SR and Rephaim if anyone accepts it, they'll be drawn together anyway. ^^

i thought about that, too, cause i wondered why Kalona left Rephaim behind... when Rephaim is able to sense Kalona, i'm shure Kalona is able to sense his favourite son, but he didn't ... ok maybe he didn't do, because Neferet didn't want him to search for him, but Kalona didn't think of Rephaim in the whole burned-book. so i expect he just didn't care.

Well they didn't have a lot of time on him so how would we know what he was thinking about? for all I know he was worrying his pants off.

But whenever we have a chapter from his POV he's simply obessed with Nyx and Zoey, he never spares a thought for Rephaim or any of his children for that matter. Even in dreams with Zoey he never mentions them. Couldn't have been that worried

Maybe that kind of behaviour is normal. If Rephaim thinks that's how things are supposed to go, he's not going to wonder why.

That is why he likes sr she is caring 'bout him and treating him really well. he is just confused at this point.
