The Summer That Changed Us

I looked at her with another sweet smile

"Anything" I sighed, "You pick something"


I pulled her too me, wrapping both arms round her and watching the sheet of calm water.

I opened one eye. "Then the flowers will be happy" I said and closed it again.

"Okay...you want to go to the music cabin?"

"We're doing what you want" I smiled, "So do youwant to go there?" I asked


I stared at our reflection in the water, more like a mirror then anything else

I went back to the dance cabin after eating and looked around, it still looked as though no one had touched it in years, so I began to rearrange things.

"Mhmm." I said. "And trees and things."

I nodded and smiled. "Snails."

I walked with him"


I poked my tongue out as I saw her watching our reflection too

I shuckled

I broke my gaze with the lake to look at her


"What do you want to sing?" I asked, "Or play" I added

"The swimmers may not be to happy since it's probably gonna flood their pool." I said.

I nodded. "That's true. Lucky thing I'm not a swimmer" I said and felt a drop of water land on my nose.

"You choose" I smiled.

I moved to the piano


I smiled before feeling the starts of the rain
