The Summer That Changed Us

"I agree." I smiled. "So how's the music thing going with my sister? Started in on anything super amazing yet?"

"No just wondering." I said.

"Well shall we start?"

I smiled and kept on dancing.

"Haven't really seen her enough to start anything" I told her, "been with Collins today...and she's been with Nick since they got together"

I kicked the ball between my feet as Josh told Nick a plan,I smiled,"ready?!"

I slapped Nick's back and smiled.

I started with the ball up the feild.

I got ready in goalie,"come on Nick she's just a girl!"I chuckled.

"Yeah, I, er, um, heard about that, sure." I said. "And that stinks I guess."

I tripped over my own feet and toppled over. "See?" I said. "Bad dancer."

I started running towards her and took the ball.

I fell down beside him and laughed.

I shrugged, "I'll still write music" I said, "Just she'll" I shrugged, "Spend all her time with her new boyfriend"

"Oh you don't know that." I said looking at him. "She loves you like a brother, you're the only person that we see at camp that's actually ever been to our house, she's bound to spend at least a day with you. And if not I'll use my twin mind powers to make her."

"See and now you fell because of my terrible dancing skills."

I laughed, "I guess so" I said, "And you're both like sisters to me" I smiled

"You know so," I said. "Although twin mind powers is something along the lines of locking you guys in the music cabin and distracting her new boyfriend, you know it can happen." I added. "And your like a brother to me, so there we're all family."

I laughed, "Good plan" I said, "But would it would...You know Manda"

"And you know me." I said. "I'll just tell her I need to talk to her about girl stuff which should send boyfriend running, tug her into the music cabin where you will be hiding and lock the door behind her."

I giggled. "Not true!"

"Is that a threat?" I asked as I got up.
